EDITORIAL The polling for Democrats is really bad, not just in today’s Virginia and New Jersey’s Governor’s elections, but nationwide. This NBC poll below explains just how dire the situation is. Keep in mind there is no corporate media figure more against Republicans than Chuck Todd who is featured in the video below.
Democrat reaction to eminent electoral defeat has been a site to see.
The Virginia Governor candidate is Terry McAuliffe. He is a former governor, former Clinton money bundler and former Democrat National Committee Chairman.
McAuliffe is on the record saying that parents should not be directing their child’s education.
McAuliffe is also on the record stating that Critical Race Theory (CRT) is not taught in Virginia Schools but public records show that his state Department of Education was pushing it. McAuliffe has also said repeatedly that there is essentially no such thing and the issue is a red herring invented by Donald Trump.
VIRGINIA DEMOCRAT TERRY MCAULIFFE CLAIMS CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS “MADE UP” – PROOF HE LIED – LINK
In the meantime parents are complaining to Virginia school boards because their six year old children are coming home asking asking if they were born evil because they are white.
In fact, McAuliffe used to work for a law firm that specializes in going after student victims and was paid millions by school boards. I know it sounds crazy, but “lawfare” by government entities grows more common.
[Editor’s Note: Critical Race Theory, in short, states that there are only two groups of people; white oppressors and colored victims – with no exceptions. It teaches that any claim of any exceptions to that are only made by white supremacists.]
Just when you thought the crazy could not get any crazier. Democrat’s staged a fake “white supremacy” show of support for Glenn Youngkin, the Republican candidate for Governor of Virginia. What made it even more silly is anyone who has taken the time to learn about Glenn Youngkin is that he should have been put up to play Mr. Rogers in a movie. He is very preacherly and as about as exciting as a ham salad sandwich.
Former Democratic Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard is explaining how the party has become unhinged, going authoritarian and declaring anyone who disagrees with them as “the enemy” and “domestic terrorists.” Some Democrats have responded to her warnings by accusing her of being a Russian agent.
Sometimes extremists go so crazy that they make their satirical critics come true, lately it has been happening to the Babylon Bee and making Alex Jones look right. This satirical video below from Allie Beth Stuckey has come true:
Tucker Carlson and Ainsley Earhardt sum up the meltdown.
Government has become so corrupt and so intertwined with BigPharma, BigTech and other mega-sized corporate interests that no one President can fix the problem.
President Trump’s regulatory reform made a good sized dent in the corruption as all too often the corporations capture the regulatory process and the regulators themselves. This is why those interests went after him mercilessly. The simple truth is that many, if not most government regulations are not put in the federal register for our benefit, they are put there because special interests paid to have them there.
We live in a world where Phillip Morris will lobby Congress to raise cigarette taxes because they know they are so big that they can absorb the tax and not raise their price, but their smaller competitors cannot.
Facebook and Democrats coordinate to attempt to make celebrities out of fake whistleblowers demanding that Congress regulate social media. Why? Because Facebook can buy all of the lawyers and Members of Congress it wants, their smaller competitors cannot.
There is a revolving door of people who go to working for school book publishers, to universities, to teacher unions to the Department of Education and back – and then people wonder why school textbooks are outrageously expensive and have a watered down curriculum.
The same can be said from those working in the Pentagon or a congressional armed services committee who leave then then work for defense contractors for millions.
And it is really bad in BigPharma. 83 HIGH PROFILE POLITICAL APPOINTEES NOW WORK FOR BIGPHARMA – LINK.
European Member of Parliament from Romania speaks out on the total lack of transparency and how BigPharma has subverted the democratic Process:
Dave Cullen explains how we are being conditioned to accept this corruption and their increasing control of our lives. This is a must see:
While our smaller domestic companies get whacked, the mega-corporations just move to China, Mexico, Russia, Turkey or India.
Former EU Parliament Member Nigel Farage explains what eco-extremist policies really do. They make China and Russia rich:
Representative Byron Donalds explains how we are demonizing domestic energy and paying jacked up prices to foreign energy companies who not only balk at global warming alarmism, but genuine eco-friendliness.
Here is Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm openly lying to NBC’s Chuck Todd on why energy prices and inflation are so high.
You know how when a child lies they tell you only a spun part of the story that benefits the themselves? Granhold is doing the same. Under Trump the United States was a net exporter of oil, natural gas and coal. Now we are importing it and are at the mercy of OPEC because Biden has done all he can to whack domestic energy producers and enrich foreign ones who spend millions in lobbying and illegal donations.
Representative David Schweikert from Arizona goes in-depth on how far left economic policy benefits the big banks, mega corporations and those rich people they say they are always going to tax but keep missing the target. Says Schweikert, “There’s a fraud around Here”
This is a rather long presentation but it is enlightening:

Rep. Byron Donalds (FL 16) speaks truth to the neo-marxist powers of the House of Representatives on energy, “How do we ever expect to beat [China] on the world stage when we’re cutting our neck when it comes to energy production while they are burning more coal, burning more oil, they’re increasing their emissions and they’re not showing up in Scotland.”
NOTE: And the United States uses clean coal and gasification technology which is much cleaner than anything the Chinese use.
Former EU Parliament Member Nigel Farage verifies Byron’s point on what these policies really do, namely they make China and Russia rich:
As reported earlier, the National School Board Association (NSBA) which is a left wing group controlled by politicized teacher unions and does not actually represent most school boards, coordinated with the Biden White House to produce a letter to send to the Attorney General Garland demanding that parents who show up at school board meetings opposing Critical Race Theory (CRT) being crammed down students throats, be declared “domestic terrorists” who should be “investigated using the Patriot Act.”
Attorney General Garland promptly sent a letter to federal agencies such as the FBI instructing that this be done. The overwhelming majority of complaints the NSBA stated in their letter are nothing more than constitutionally protected speech. The “poster boy” incident of violence the letter cited was in fact the father of a student who was raped in every way imaginable in a school restroom by a male in a skirt.
The school board actually used the police to keep the man from speaking at the school board meeting. They did not call the police about the rape. Instead they sent the predator to another school where he raped again, all while denying that the rapes ever occured.
The federal government has no general police power as that is left to local authorities. Getting federal agencies involved was an attempt to intimidate parents into silence.
This week Attorney General Garland testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee with an even less impressive performance. Senators came armed with memos from Garland’s coordination with various federal prosecutors on how to go after the parents.
It gets even better, Garland’s son-in-law owns Panorama Publications which makes millions peddling disturbing CRT materials to schools to use on K-12 children. Garland is openly disobeying federal ethics rules requiring him to disclose his conflict of interest.
Senator Kennedy’s questioning was devastating. The Biden Administration said that hired far left activists who chased Senator Sinema into a bathroom “is a part of the process” and yet parents who complain about CRT are “domestic terrorists.”
Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy gives enlightening legal details.
And yet look at what is happening at a school board meeting and at a rally for Glenn Youngkin who is running for Virginia Governor to stop this nonsense:
Megyn Kelly has in-depth analysis:
Senator Cruz asks Attorney General Garland about his obvious conflict of interest and his violation of the ethics rules.

Repeated and ongoing lies about Afghanistan. Funding biological weapons research at the Wuhan lab in China, leftists school boards lying about Critical Race Theory, covering up rapes, waging lawfare against the families of student victims, rewriting history in “woke” textbooks, taxes, why they want to monitor EVERY bank account that has over $600 because of “criminal billionaires”, droning innocent children in hopes to change a headline, January 6th narrative completely falling apart, the plot to kidnap a Michigan Governor, using the FBI to target parents who complain at school board meetings, the DoJ refusing to track ANTIFA terrorists, the IRS used to target conservatives, the CIA illegally spying on Senators, the illegal spying on Trump, their phony Trump/Russian collusion hoax. Lying about why fuel and food prices are high. Their allies at Pfizer are lying as Project veritas shows internet emails directing employees to lie. The corpomedia lies keep piling on every day.
The Biden administration has even directed OSHA and employers to not report Jab reactions to the CDC VAERS database.
They have given the American people no reason to trust them:
RELATED – VIRGINIA DEMOCRAT TERRY MCAULIFFE CLAIMS CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS “MADE UP” – PROOF HE LIED – LINK
Waging “lawfare” is a disgusting practice. The firm Virginia Governor candidate Terry McAuliffe worked for was hired by school boards to manipulate the courts to rule against the rights students who were victims of crimes including sexual assault and even gang rape. This goes a big step beyond just a coverup.
A key problem with allowing the woke leftists, well funded by teachers unions, to serve on school boards is that they want to create a “utopia” by cramming their marxist ideology down everyone’s throat. Bullying and rape go against the utopia narrative, therefore the school administrations target the victims. If the bullying and sexual assault victims are silenced, than there is no problem.
A law firm that employed Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is being paid handsomely to fight victims of alleged sexual abuse in schools, on behalf of a school system that the girls say failed to protect them.
In one case the Hunton Andrews Kurth law firm, where McAuliffe served as a senior adviser from 2019 until recently, is battling a young woman who says that she was repeatedly raped on her Fairfax County middle school campus as a 12-year old and that she was slashed with a knife, burned with a lighter, anally penetrated, and gang raped.
The law firm and McAuliffe’s campaign did not return request for comment, but McAuliffe reported income apparently linked to the firm in 2021, after announcing his run for governor of Virginia on December 8, 2020. Later advertisements from the firm for McAuliffe fundraisers refer to him as a “former colleague.”
The girl in the middle school case said she was afraid of having her real name attached because one of her alleged tormentors had threatened to kill her if she came forward. The law firm is seeking to have the lawsuit thrown out because it was filed under a pseudonym, even though there is no dispute that the school system knows who she is. A judge rejected Hunton’s argument, but it filed an appeal on behalf of its client, the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS).
In a separate case, a girl alleged that after FCPS administrators were told of an unwanted sexual incident on a band trip, a school security officer told her there was no point in seeking criminal charges, and the school gave an award to her alleged abuser. Hunton told the court that the school system lost documentation showing its investigation of the allegations – which occurred in part because it was not using a sexual harassment allegation database that it had promised to use pursuant to a federal settlement in the other girl’s case. In both cases, a women’s rights group filed “amicus” briefs to express opposition to Hunton’s arguments.
Joining McAuliffe’s former law firm and FCPS in the latter case was the National School Boards Association, which filed its own amicus brief. The trio is banking on an aggressive interpretation of Title IX, a law that provides protections in sexual assault cases, that would be more favorable to school administrators and less favorable to victims. The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals smacked down their logic, but Hunton has signaled its intent to take the case to the Supreme Court. A win there would mean the same interpretation would apply to schools across the country.
The Daily Wire’s review of Hunton’s work brings into stark relief themes that have come to define the race for Virginia governor. McAuliffe’s statement that parents’ role in schools should be limited; the National School Board Association’s implication that parents angry at school policies could be akin to “domestic terrorists;” and the financial ties between the McAuliffe-linked law firm, his campaign, school systems, and teachers unions.
The cases tie thematically and legally to an earlier exclusive Daily Wire report about a sexual assault case in Loudoun County. Loudoun County Public Schools blamed its actions in that case on Title IX, saying it would lobby for changes to make it more favorable to victims. Yet the records show that the NSBA, the Virginia School Board Association, and the former law firm of the state’s possible governor are actively seeking the opposite.
Keep in mind that this is KNOWN border crossers. This also doesn’t include all of the other than Mexicans that come from around the world to cross the southern border and of course the tons of drugs that come over almost daily. Watch Senator Young (R-IN) trying to get an answer from Biden’s Homeland Security Department:
Former KGB disinformation officer Yuri Bezmenov said that you might think that we bribed American media figures such as Dan Rather and Daniel Ellsberg with money or with women. No. They simply did not resist us.
American leftists were enamoured with and romanticized the murderous tyranny of the Soviet Union and Cuba and now they seem all too willing, as well as leftist academia, to do the same for the Chinese Communist Party.
New York City mayoral candidate Eric Adams met with a Chinese Communist Party-run foreign influence flagged by the U.S. government for seeking to “directly and malignly influence” officials to push pro-Beijing policies.
Adams, the Democratic Party nominee in the upcoming New York City mayoral election, met with leaders from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) during a 2017 trip to China.
The CPAFFC has been dubbed the “public face” of the United Front – a billion-dollar effort executed by the Chinese Communist Party seeking “to co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party” and “influence foreign governments to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing’s preferred policies,” according to the federal U.S.-China Security and Economic Review Commission.
Also referred to as “avowedly an arm of the party-state,” CPAFFC has been flagged by the U.S. State Department for its campaigns to “directly and malignly influence” American officials.
Whenever you see the name Podesta, insert Clinton. John Podesta was Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman and his brother Tony is a lobbyist and fundraiser/bundler for all the wrong people. The Chinese have been illegally bankrolling the Clinton’s from early in his career.
Huawei, the Chinese tech giant that is on a U.S. trade blacklist, paid veteran Democratic lobbyist and donor Tony Podesta $500,000 to lobby the White House during the third quarter.
The disclosure comes as the Biden administration is facing pressure to keep Huawei on the blacklist, which restricts the company’s access to semiconductors. The lobbying took place between July and September.
The specifics of Podesta’s lobbying campaign for Huawei were not clear. Podesta and Huawei did not return requests for comment before publication.
The White House, in a response Thursday, criticized Huawei and said the company is still subject to trade restrictions.
“President Biden and this administration believe digital infrastructure equipment made by untrustworthy vendors, like Huawei, pose a threat to the security of the U.S., our allies, and our partners. Export controls against Huawei remain in place,” a White House official said, when asked about Podesta’s lobbying.
“We are committed to using the full range of our tools to keep us and our allies secure,” the official added. “We are engaging with all of our partners and allies on the risks posed by Huawei and dozens of countries and carriers have made the decision to exclude Huawei from their 5G networks. And we expect this trend to continue.”
Can they make it any more clear that they just don’t care? Empty shelves, crazy inflation, meat, grocery and fuel shortages. Drug shortages and more. Check out the Biden Administration response in the video below:
They tell us to lower our expectations, If Trump were in office he would whip together an emergency program to fix this. In the meantime Democrat states like California are banning most owner-operator truckers in the name of progressive utopia.
When Democrat Jimmy Carter created an energy crisis with his foolish anti-energy policies he told America that nothing could be done, it would get worse for the rest of the century….then Reagan got elected and fixed it within 18 months.
Pfizer is demanding military bases and embassies be put up as collateral. Demanding that the countries pass certain laws benefiting Pfizer over safety at public expense, even holding Pfizer immune should they act maliciously.
Pfizer has been accused of “bullying” Latin American governments during negotiations to acquire its Covid-19 vaccine, and the company has asked some countries to put up sovereign assets, such as embassy buildings and military bases, as a guarantee against the cost of any future legal cases, according to an investigation by the U.K.-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
The Manhattan-based pharmaceutical giant has maintained tight levels of secrecy about negotiations with governments over contracts that can determine the fate of populations. The “contracts consistently place Pfizer’s interests before public health imperatives,” said Zain Rizvi, the researcher who wrote the report.
Public Citizen found common themes across contracts, including not only secrecy but also language to block donations of Pfizer doses. Disputes are settled in secret arbitration courts, with Pfizer able to change the terms of key decisions, including delivery dates, and demand public assets as collateral.
Sharon Castillo, a spokeswoman for Pfizer, said that confidentiality clauses were “standard in commercial contracts” and “intended to help build trust between the parties, as well as protect the confidential commercial information exchanged during negotiations and included in final contracts.”
Both Pfizer and Moderna, another U.S. company that developed a vaccine using breakthrough mRNA technology, are facing pressure from critics who accuse them of building a “duopoly.” Although Pfizer did not accept government funding through the vaccine development program called Operation Warp Speed, it received huge advance orders from the United States. It opposed an intellectual property waiver that could have meant the sharing of its technology.
Experts who reviewed the terms of contracts with foreign governments suggested that some demands were extreme. In contracts reached with Brazil, Chile, Colombia and the Dominican Republic, those states forfeited “immunity against precautionary seizure of any of [their] assets.”
“It’s almost as if the company would ask the United States to put the Grand Canyon as collateral,” said Lawrence Gostin, a professor of public health law at Georgetown University.
Public Citizen analyzed an unredacted draft agreement between the company and Albania, as well as unredacted final documents from Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Peru and the European Commission. Redacted documents published by Chile, the United States and Britain provide further context, though they are missing key details.
The contract reached with Brazil prohibits the government from making “any public announcement concerning the existence, subject matter or terms of [the] Agreement” or commenting on its relationship with Pfizer without the prior written consent of the company.
It is not populist Trump supporters working in the bureaucracy who think this insanity is a good idea. Someone thinks that torturing beagles is the path to progressive utopia. How about we find these people and fire them? It is time to reform the bureaucratic state. Spending millions on this when we have disabled, veterans and the elderly to take care of is inexcusable.
Hunter Biden tried to get Alcoa to pay him $80,000 to get plugged into the network of wealthy Russian criminal Oleg Deripaska. How is it that Hunter Biden is so well versed on Russian criminal networks….to make “introductions.”
The FBI raided the American homes of Deripaska last week. Of course the FBI being as corrupt as it is the raid could have been for the purpose of finding any evidence on Hunter and disappearing it.
The raid could also be a continued cover up of the Trump/Russian Collusion Hoax. Special Prosecutor Durham has already scored the conviction of an FBI lawyer for manufacturing incriminating evidence to submit to the FISA Court in order to continue to spy on Trump illegally.
Woke leftist philosophy is simply race based cultural marxism. From when progressive icon President Roosevelt put Japanese Americans in internment camps to denying Asians choice in education today. Just as the woke left is denying inner city black Americans choice in education to keep them in failed, violent government schools ran by progressives.
Is it any surprise that Harvard trained the monsters in the Chinese Communist Party who are in charge of the Uyghur genocide?
We can assure you our enemies are not doing the same. Notice the academic group does not say that academics is their greatest strength, woke neo-marxist ideology is.
“Equity” is the word the left pops out when a real explanation would make no logical sense. In this instance it means equality by the lowest common denominator. Get more details at the Daily Caller HERE.
There are few things in life where every effort should be made to ensure there is no compromise and one of them is the rules firearm safety.
Will Smith, Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry trained with real guns, from real shooting professionals, on real competition tactical gun ranges using REAL gun safety protocols that are always followed.
Prop guns look and feel like real guns. There have been accidents where somehow a real gun was used on set – with real ammo that should never have been near the set – and people have died. Will Smith treats every prop gun as if it is real and loaded as everyone should.
Watch Will Smith here because this is how it’s done:
[Editor’s Note – Even though Alec Baldwin has done foolish things for much of his life, this makes us sick inside. We do not wish what happened on the set of Rust to happen to anyone. We take no pleasure in reporting this. Alec should have followed the basic rules of gun safety at all times period – full stop.]
Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland is fast becoming one of the most scandal ridden. His testimony in front of Congress did not go well. He denied, obfuscated, avoided questions, and claimed he just didn’t know anything about the most newsworthy events involving the justice system in recent months.
Garland has been releasing Chinese spies. The Justice Departments hyped up “crackdown on Chinese espionage” seems to be a show. He has been releasing criminal illegal aliens and violating immigration laws, pretty much just ignoring them and now we have 200,000 people show up at the border every month, plus countless tons of illegal drugs.
It was this father who was cited in the far left political group as being a domestic terrorist who should be investigated using the Patriot Act. So Garland sicks the FBI on parents who complain about CRT and rapes in school, but the rapes themselves, well that is a state matter he claims to know nothing about.
They are harming children and using the Department of Justice to scare parents into liking it.
Garland also simply refused to answer questions or take accountability on the January 6th detainees. None of them were violent and the DoJ is not charging anyone of them with insurrection or anything like the corpomedia claims. Mostly they are elderly people who followed the crowd and took selfies.
“Gain of Function” is a euphemism for biological weapons research. Taking a virus and mixing it with other virus’ and DNA sources to make them more powerful and contagious.
We have disabled people and veterans who are suffering and we are giving money to CHINA, the single worst human rights abuser in the world, money for bioweapons research. I am sure the fancy far left professors will deny that anyone would use such a thing for bioweapons because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is as pure as the wind driven snow.
Those who authorized the funding lied and said that there is no way COVID came from a lab and anyone who says so is a nutty conspiracy theorist.
Then other scientists said wait a minute it does look like it came from a lab.
Then others started to admit it likely came from a lab, then even the corpomedia started to admit it likely came from a lab.
All the while Dr, Fauci was lying about this and full well knew it according to released emails.
Now the National Institute of Health is finally admitting the truth…partially.
NIH says that they did give money (laundered) through a non-profit called EcoHealth and they in turn gave the money to the Wuhan lab….but EcoHealth did not respond back with all the the required data in the agreed reporting requirements. What a wonderful system which seems to be designed to make sure no one can be held accountable and everyone can point the finger at everyone else.
But worry not! As the NIH has said that even though Ecohealth did not return all the data, they are certain that the gain of function research did not produce COVID 19…. how much would you bet on that?
This is not the only time Fauci has lied under oath. watch:
What works better, lockdows and the BigPharma poke or keeping things open, no mask mandates and getting natural herd immunity using all of the best treatments available so people recover well?
The Israeli study showing that natural immunity works 27 times better than the poke, which loses almost have of its efficacy in six months, has been well reported. Now we have a set of data of three countries who did mandates, lockdowns and the poke, vs three others who kept things open, focusing on treatments and attaining herd immunity.
This was the last outlet for Western news in China. The torture, the slavery, the child labor, the lack of environmental standards, the harvesting of organs by force and more, Big Tech like their allies in the Democratic Party, NBA , Nike and John Cena, not only do not care, but actively help to cover their crimes up. If you criticize these crimes of course you are a racist.
Chinese internet users have lost one of their last avenues to foreign news after the Yahoo Finance app disappeared from Apple’s store, as the Communist Party intensifies its censorship of information from abroad.
The Yahoo app republishes news from foreign media organisations, including outlets whose websites are blocked in China, such as Bloomberg and Reuters, as well as stock market data.
This allowed users to skirt official censorship bans, a feature that likely drew the ire of Chinese authorities.
Beijing’s crackdown on foreign content and influence in China has affected everything from private school curricula to karaoke bar songs.
Chinese government censors have always tightly controlled news and information, blocking access to foreign media websites and social media networks, such as the BBC, New York Times, Facebook, Google and Twitter.
“Recently Apple has been removing many apps at the demand of the Chinese authorities,” said Benjamin Ismail, project director at Apple Censorship, an organisation that tracks which apps are available, and where.
“But complying with governments’ orders is different than complying with law, especially in China, where the authorities often resort to extralegal means to muzzle the press, bloggers, activists or any dissenting voices.”
And they just do not care about the consequences. The neo-marxist ideology uber alles. If you live in one of these progressive marxist utopias get out before civil society completely breaks down.
It gets worse. An illegal immigrant with a long rap sheet raped a woman on a subway while others watched. Democrats refused to deport him.
They ask why did not one on the train stop it or call police? Aside from the fact that people do not expect police to show up, aside from the fact that they know illegal alien criminals will just be released to offend again, aside from the fact that they know these Soros backed prosecutors just won’t prosecute many crimes and on top of the fact that if someone intervened they would be called a vigilante and targeted by the left….
And speaking of the border, the Biden Administration has made a deliberate choice to allow tons of deadly fentanyl across the open southern border killing thousands of Americans each year, causing homelessness, filling hospitals. They just don’t care.
Human trafficking, girls being raped and kidnapped as they are left near the border alone. They just don’t care.
Governor Ron DeSantis blasts Democrat’s divisive idiocy:
Just when you thought the Biden Administration could not get more corrupt, crazed and authoritarian, now Biden’s politically weaponized Department of Justice is refusing to act against those who threaten Republican Members of Congress. A man on Twitter told Representative Gaetz that he had accepted a contract to kill him. The man then came to DC. The Capital Police asked the DoJ to have the man arrested, Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland refused.
“I thank the gentleman for yielding because I think someone may be trying to kill me,” Gaetz said. “And if they are successful, I would like my constituents and my family to know who stopped their arrest. Madam Speaker, on October 8, 2021, a Twitter handle, “CIA Bob is at your door” tweeted to @RepMattGaetz, ‘Looky here, pal. I lived in Portland. Portland has ordered a hit on you. I accepted the contract. Have a good day.’”
School boards as a rule like to stay under the radar. Aside from the desire to avoid controversy they know that parental ire becomes political ire very quickly.
Big education is even bigger money and that means corruption. Textbook company bribes, teacher unions in cahoots with the Democratic Party. Kick backs on everything from school building contracts, testing schemes, computer purchases, to school lunch contracts. There are also countless well funded outside pressure groups spreading money around. It all goes on outside of the bright light of transparency.
The National School Board Association (NSBA) dove head first into the culture war by going nuclear on parents opposing the overtly racist and communist Critical Race Theory (CRT) by asking Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DoJ) to use the Patriot Act to investigate parents opposing CRT at school board meetings, declaring them to be domestic terrorists. Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland was all too happy to comply, sending a letter to the FBI directing them to investigate the parents.

Democrats in the Biden Administration hoped using the FBI would have a chilling effect on parental involvement with education, what they got was a breathtaking degree of pushback.
Public interest law firms leaped at the chance to take this on as civil rights litigation often means the loser pays the attorney fees for both sides. Big education has deep pockets.
Mark Levin, Judicial Watch, America First Legal, ACLJ, Liberty Council and countless others started licking their teeth.
It seems that leakers at the DoJ have prompted a letter to the Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz with allegations of teacher union/Democratic Party/NSBA collusion. The Daily Signal has an outstanding piece of journalism explaining all of this and we encourage all to read it:
Schools Group That Urged Attorney General’s Anti-Parent Initiative Has Ties to Democrats, Unions – LINK
There are honest school boards that are disgusted that NSBA would declare parents “domestic terrorists” and there are others who do not want to chance that their corruption be exposed in the legal morass.
Think about it, a school board calls in the FBI, parents sue with the help of a public interest law firm such as Judicial Watch, everything gets subpoenaed and FOIA‘d. Books are opened, money is followed, crimes are discovered.
It doesn’t take a genius to see the writing on the wall:
New York Times reporter Bari Weiss has quit in disgust. We all knew journalism is dead, Weiss has the details. After you watch the video where she explains how the corpo media has gone mad please read her resignation letter below:
It is with sadness that I write to tell you that I am resigning from The New York Times.
I joined the paper with gratitude and optimism three years ago. I was hired with the goal of bringing in voices that would not otherwise appear in your pages: first-time writers, centrists, conservatives and others who would not naturally think of The Times as their home. The reason for this effort was clear: The paper’s failure to anticipate the outcome of the 2016 election meant that it didn’t have a firm grasp of the country it covers. Dean Baquet and others have admitted as much on various occasions. The priority in Opinion was to help redress that critical shortcoming.
I was honored to be part of that effort, led by James Bennet. I am proud of my work as a writer and as an editor. Among those I helped bring to our pages: the Venezuelan dissident Wuilly Arteaga; the Iranian chess champion Dorsa Derakhshani; and the Hong Kong Christian democrat Derek Lam. Also: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Masih Alinejad, Zaina Arafat, Elna Baker, Rachael Denhollander, Matti Friedman, Nick Gillespie, Heather Heying, Randall Kennedy, Julius Krein, Monica Lewinsky, Glenn Loury, Jesse Singal, Ali Soufan, Chloe Valdary, Thomas Chatterton Williams, Wesley Yang, and many others.
But the lessons that ought to have followed the election—lessons about the importance of understanding other Americans, the necessity of resisting tribalism, and the centrality of the free exchange of ideas to a democratic society—have not been learned. Instead, a new consensus has emerged in the press, but perhaps especially at this paper: that truth isn’t a process of collective discovery, but an orthodoxy already known to an enlightened few whose job is to inform everyone else.
Twitter is not on the masthead of The New York Times. But Twitter has become its ultimate editor. As the ethics and mores of that platform have become those of the paper, the paper itself has increasingly become a kind of performance space. Stories are chosen and told in a way to satisfy the narrowest of audiences, rather than to allow a curious public to read about the world and then draw their own conclusions. I was always taught that journalists were charged with writing the first rough draft of history. Now, history itself is one more ephemeral thing molded to fit the needs of a predetermined narrative.
My own forays into Wrongthink have made me the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views. They have called me a Nazi and a racist; I have learned to brush off comments about how I’m “writing about the Jews again.” Several colleagues perceived to be friendly with me were badgered by coworkers. My work and my character are openly demeaned on company-wide Slack channels where masthead editors regularly weigh in. There, some coworkers insist I need to be rooted out if this company is to be a truly “inclusive” one, while others post ax emojis next to my name. Still other New York Times employees publicly smear me as a liar and a bigot on Twitter with no fear that harassing me will be met with appropriate action. They never are.
There are terms for all of this: unlawful discrimination, hostile work environment, and constructive discharge. I’m no legal expert. But I know that this is wrong.
I do not understand how you have allowed this kind of behavior to go on inside your company in full view of the paper’s entire staff and the public. And I certainly can’t square how you and other Times leaders have stood by while simultaneously praising me in private for my courage. Showing up for work as a centrist at an American newspaper should not require bravery.
Part of me wishes I could say that my experience was unique. But the truth is that intellectual curiosity—let alone risk-taking—is now a liability at The Times. Why edit something challenging to our readers, or write something bold only to go through the numbing process of making it ideologically kosher, when we can assure ourselves of job security (and clicks) by publishing our 4000th op-ed arguing that Donald Trump is a unique danger to the country and the world? And so self-censorship has become the norm.
What rules that remain at The Times are applied with extreme selectivity. If a person’s ideology is in keeping with the new orthodoxy, they and their work remain unscrutinized. Everyone else lives in fear of the digital thunderdome. Online venom is excused so long as it is directed at the proper targets.
Op-eds that would have easily been published just two years ago would now get an editor or a writer in serious trouble, if not fired. If a piece is perceived as likely to inspire backlash internally or on social media, the editor or writer avoids pitching it. If she feels strongly enough to suggest it, she is quickly steered to safer ground. And if, every now and then, she succeeds in getting a piece published that does not explicitly promote progressive causes, it happens only after every line is carefully massaged, negotiated and caveated.
It took the paper two days and two jobs to say that the Tom Cotton op-ed “fell short of our standards.” We attached an editor’s note on a travel story about Jaffa shortly after it was published because it “failed to touch on important aspects of Jaffa’s makeup and its history.” But there is still none appended to Cheryl Strayed’s fawning interview with the writer Alice Walker, a proud anti-Semite who believes in lizard Illuminati.
The paper of record is, more and more, the record of those living in a distant galaxy, one whose concerns are profoundly removed from the lives of most people. This is a galaxy in which, to choose just a few recent examples, the Soviet space program is lauded for its “diversity”; the doxxing of teenagers in the name of justice is condoned; and the worst caste systems in human history includes the United States alongside Nazi Germany.
Even now, I am confident that most people at The Times do not hold these views. Yet they are cowed by those who do. Why? Perhaps because they believe the ultimate goal is righteous. Perhaps because they believe that they will be granted protection if they nod along as the coin of our realm—language—is degraded in service to an ever-shifting laundry list of right causes. Perhaps because there are millions of unemployed people in this country and they feel lucky to have a job in a contracting industry.
Or perhaps it is because they know that, nowadays, standing up for principle at the paper does not win plaudits. It puts a target on your back. Too wise to post on Slack, they write to me privately about the “new McCarthyism” that has taken root at the paper of record.
All this bodes ill, especially for independent-minded young writers and editors paying close attention to what they’ll have to do to advance in their careers. Rule One: Speak your mind at your own peril. Rule Two: Never risk commissioning a story that goes against the narrative. Rule Three: Never believe an editor or publisher who urges you to go against the grain. Eventually, the publisher will cave to the mob, the editor will get fired or reassigned, and you’ll be hung out to dry.
For these young writers and editors, there is one consolation. As places like The Times and other once-great journalistic institutions betray their standards and lose sight of their principles, Americans still hunger for news that is accurate, opinions that are vital, and debate that is sincere. I hear from these people every day. “An independent press is not a liberal ideal or a progressive ideal or a democratic ideal. It’s an American ideal,” you said a few years ago. I couldn’t agree more. America is a great country that deserves a great newspaper.
None of this means that some of the most talented journalists in the world don’t still labor for this newspaper. They do, which is what makes the illiberal environment especially heartbreaking. I will be, as ever, a dedicated reader of their work. But I can no longer do the work that you brought me here to do—the work that Adolph Ochs described in that famous 1896 statement: “to make of the columns of The New York Times a forum for the consideration of all questions of public importance, and to that end to invite intelligent discussion from all shades of opinion.”
Ochs’s idea is one of the best I’ve encountered. And I’ve always comforted myself with the notion that the best ideas win out. But ideas cannot win on their own. They need a voice. They need a hearing. Above all, they must be backed by people willing to live by them.
Polling and other evidence shows that Democrats are largely in favor of violations of the First, Fourth, Eighth Amendments and more so long as it is their side who is violating it. Greenwald’s presentation is well presented and virtually indisputable by honest means.
In this video report on Democrats’ authoritarianism, the evidence demonstrates overwhelming Dem support for: * internet censorship by tech monopolies *and* the state * both FBI and CIA * large media corporations * no-fly lists (based on political preferences).
Tucker Carlson at his best. Democrat policies are failing everywhere, it is a disaster both at home and abroad. But instead of trying to make it better they are doubling down and insist, at times with force, that you like it.
