So, I installed Windows 11…
The day that everyone dreads who owns a PC had finally arrived. I installed Windows 11. Here is the good and bad so far.

The Good:
Directx12 implementation on Windows 11 is noticeably better over Win 10. I was able to see noticeable image quality improvements and frame rates in Witcher 3 with the next gen update and Cyberpunk 2077 even using an older GTX 1070 video card.
Processor utilization is better in Windows 11 with my 10th Gen Intel CPU. The performance meter in the task manager shows better hyperthreading performance thus allowing more performance per core.
I must admit this was the most trouble-free operating system upgrade I have ever done.
The Bad:
Coming along with Windows 11 was the following bloat/spy ware apps –
TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, and a couple of other nono’s. I was able to remove them. Shutting off the “widgets app” that puts reams of MSN’s crappy news and celebrity gossip in your task bar was easy.
Windows 11 does not like Google Chrome. Chrome hesitates and just plain misbehaves in way that I did not see in Windows 10.
Windows 11 is still buggy on windows update for some older hardware when attempting to update drivers.
Windows Explorer (some people call it the file manager) is definitely less stable, but it does recover quickly when it has to reset.

According to the government…. We are not spying on you illegally. We are not engaging in mass domestic surveillance. We are not using intelligence tools to spy on your lawyer to get around attorney/client privilege. We did not lie to the FISA Court. The CIA does not spy on Members of Congress.
Government lies way too much, but at least most of the time they make a good effort at maintaining the lie. In the case of East Palestine, Ohio the government is lying with an Orwellian bravado that amounts to gaslighting.
Just two days after telling the population around East Palestine to escape, as the poison cloud they created with the fire was deadly, government, including Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said it was safe to return.
The gases are a deadly mixture which included phosgene, a gas used as a WWI era chemical weapon. A list of the chemicals released by the train derailment can be found HERE.
Instead of cleaning up the dangerous chemicals using more conventional methods, Norfolk Southern Rail Company pushed for a “controlled burn” which allowed them to repair the tracks and get trains moving sooner rather than later.
According to dozens of local reports people are getting sick. They have found at least 3,500 dead fish in local waterways. Dogs, chickens and wild animals miles away are dying and the government claims that such instances are anecdotal. It is all just a coincidence. How many times have we heard that before?
Governor DeWine, has shown an indifference and lack of curiosity that is breathtaking. Many pundits, including Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Jesse Watters, are openly musing if it is because two of the major shareholders of Norfolk-Southern are significant political establishment donors such as Blackrock and Vanguard. Only after significant public backlash, today, after two weeks, DeWine asked the federal government for assistance.
While the EPA is not giving any details other than saying that it is safe, their workers are showing up in full hazmat suits. FEMA has refused to help local residents in spite of the fact that incidents like this are why FEMA exists.
There was a townhall meeting in East Palestine Wednesday and Norfolk-Southern did not even show up claiming they feared for their safety, which tells you how safe East Palestine is. Governor DeWine said that “people” will be coming to resident’s homes to test the water, soil and air. Who ended up showing up in hazmat suits? Contractors who told homeowners that if they signed a release promising not to sue Norfolk-Southern, they could get the tests.
Should it comfort those affected that Norfolk-Southern gives inspectors 60 seconds to perform a safety inspection on each car?
This is a stunning failure of government at the state and federal level. It seems because of political donors who appear to be running the show, there is no political will to protect innocents affected. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has not even spoken about it and much of the legacy corporate media is simply not covering the story. If Trump were President and these failures were happening what would their reaction be?
Easy Witcher 3 Patch 4.01 PC Framerate Fix
So you downloaded the latest Witcher III patch 4.01 after the “next gen” update and your frame rate tanked.
Some say that going back to the DC 11 executable will fix the issue. That works but it is a pain to do. There is an easier fix.
This should work on cards as low as a GTX 970 at 2k resolution.

YouTube Bans Project Veritas Video About SLAPP Subpoena
YouTube banned the video below as bullying and harassment. Well in part we would agree as it is Project Veritas that is being bullied and harassed.
A “SLAPP” or Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation are designed to silence critics with the threat of massive legal fees simply to demonstrate their innocence. California has an Anti-SLAPP statute. To get around it YouTube paid or otherwise seems to have convinced the town of San Bruno, California to accuse Project Veritas of committing a crime by merely engaging in constitutionally protected journalism.
Before the Twitter Files were released, BigTech at least tried to maintain a phony pretext that they were not engaging on overt censorship for big money interests like Pfizer and the government. Today the censorship is in your face.
MLK Would Rebuke Woke Politics, CRT and “Anti-Racism”
“Woke” identity politics is the most divisive flavor of cultural Marxism to date. Critical Race Theory (CRT) expresses the idea that if you are white or Asian you are an evil oppressor. If you are most other colors you are a victim.
Their solution is what they call “anti-racism” meaning that the only way to make up for past racism is to be racist against white, Asian, Jewish or others who they consider to be privileged or “doing better.” To them everything is about race and any scholarship or facts which explains any disparities whatsoever outside of racism are lies invented to advance the ‘oppression.”
In schools across the country “woke” teachers are literally telling very children that they were born evil because they are white.
Dr. Martin Luther King rejected all of this many times. One such example was his speech to Stanford University on April 14th, 1967:

Better a couple of years late than never? Their piece even admits their errors have caused millions pf preventable deaths.
It’s Time for the Scientific Community to Admit We Were Wrong About COVID and It Cost Lives.
As a medical student and researcher, I staunchly supported the efforts of the public health authorities when it came to COVID-19. I believed that the authorities responded to the largest public health crisis of our lives with compassion, diligence, and scientific expertise. I was with them when they called for lockdowns, vaccines, and boosters.
I was wrong. We in the scientific community were wrong. And it cost lives.
I can see now that the scientific community from the CDC to the WHO to the FDA and their representatives, repeatedly overstated the evidence and misled the public about its own views and policies, including on natural vs. artificial immunity, school closures and disease transmission, aerosol spread, mask mandates, and vaccine effectiveness and safety, especially among the young. All of these were scientific mistakes at the time, not in hindsight. Amazingly, some of these obfuscations continue to the present day.
But perhaps more important than any individual error was how inherently flawed the overall approach of the scientific community was, and continues to be. It was flawed in a way that undermined its efficacy and resulted in thousands if not millions of preventable deaths.
What we did not properly appreciate is that preferences determine how scientific expertise is used, and that our preferences might be—indeed, our preferences were—very different from many of the people that we serve. We created policy based on our preferences, then justified it using data. And then we portrayed those opposing our efforts as misguided, ignorant, selfish, and evil.
We made science a team sport, and in so doing, we made it no longer science. It became us versus them, and “they” responded the only way anyone might expect them to: by resisting.

Hunter Biden’s Lawyers Admit the Laptop is His. Will the 51 “Intelligence Community” Officials Who Lied Apologize?
They lied and lied and lied in order to manipulate the election. Hunter Biden abandoned his laptop at a computer repair shop where he did not pay the bill.
The intelligence community in league with Democrats and the Biden Campaign invented a story that it was “Russian disinformation” in spite of the fact that the FBI had already had the contents of the laptop for over a year and new full well it was genuine. BigTech censored the story and the New York Post’s twitter account was shut down.
The laptop contains evidence of multiple crimes, drug use, sex with prostitutes, including some that certainly look to be very underage girls, gun crimes and emails with their illegal business dealings, kickbacks and grifting, including emails that appear to show Hunter Biden sharing classified information with foreign interests.
Joe Biden kept classified documents he was not entitled to have at the residence where Hunter was staying.

Republican Councilwoman Assassinated in New Jersey
A New Jersey Councilwoman has been gunned down outside of her home and police say she was the ‘intended target’ of the shooting.
Eunice Dwumfour, 30, was found dead in her white Nissan SUV after it crashed near her home on Point of Wood Drive in New Jersey.
The Republican mother-of-one was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses claim that the suspected gunman was spotted racing away from the Camelot at La Mer apartment complex, and a 911 call was placed at 7.22pm.
Authorities say that the councilwoman, who worked for a Nigerian-based church group, was the intended target – but have not given a motive.
California Mass Public Shooting Rate 276% Higher than Texas Since 2020

After the California Supreme Court declared the state’s assault weapon ban unconstitutional in 1998, a new law was enacted in 2000. Picking just a few years from 2019 to 2021 to evaluate the law seems arbitrary. Whether one picks the years from 2000 on, 2010 on, or 2020 on, the per capita rate of mass public shootings in California is always greater than the rate for the rest of the country. The rate has also been consistently lower in Texas, which gun control groups give an “F” grade for its gun control laws. From 2010 on, California’s per capita rate of mass public shootings was 43% higher than the rate in Texas and 29% higher than in the rest of the United States. Since 2020, the rate in California is 276% higher than in Texas and 100% higher than in the rest of the U.S..
