International finance and money laundering just seem to go together like bacon and eggs, death and taxes, politics and corruption….and Hillary says that it is Trump who is too close to Putin?

Please pardon the length of the quote, international finance and corporations can get pretty arcane.

WND:

Emails released this week by Wikileaks indicate John Podesta, chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, laundered shares of stock he received from an energy company cited in the Panama Papers money-laundering probe that has received funding from the Russian government.

WND reported Oct. 6 Podesta had been paid an undisclosed amount for serving on the executive board of Joule Global Stichting, an appointment he neglected to report to regulatory authorities in the U.S.

He also has received consulting fees from the Wyss Foundation, a group controlled by Swiss billionaire Hansjoerg Wyss, an investor in Joule Energy, according to Peter Schweizer’s Government Accountability Institute in a report, “From Russia with Money: Hillary Clinton, the Russian Reset, and Cronyism.”

Joule Global Stichting and Joule Global Holdings figure prominently as a client of the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca, which is at the heart of the Panama Papers investigation into offshore money-laundering operations on a massive international scale.

WND reported Russian entities that funneled money to Joule and its related companies, and ultimately to Podesta, include Viktor Vekselberg, a controversial Russian billionaire investor with ties to Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.

Vekselberg owns the Renova Group, a multi-billion dollar private Moscow-based Russian conglomerate with interests in oil, energy and telecommunication held in Russia, Switzerland, Italy, South Africa and the United States.

Vekselberg is a board member of Rusnano, the Russian State Investment Fund, as well as president of the Skolkovo Foundation, named for Russia’s version of Silicon Valley.

Rusnano made a multi-million dollar investment in Joule Unlimited, a small Massachusetts-based energy company owned by Joule Global Holdings B.V. in the Netherlands and Joule Global Stichting, the ultimate controlling entity.

On Jan. 6, 2014, Mark Solakian, a senior vice president and general counsel with Joule Unlimited, emailed Podesta, confirming that Podesta had exercised 75,000 shares of 100,000 options in Joule Unlimited. Podesta had been issued the shares in 2011 in partial compensation for his work on the Joule board of directors.

Secondly, Solakian confirmed Podesta had transferred the resulting 75,000 common shares of Joule Unlimited to Leonidio LLC in a transaction that most likely would prevent the stock shares from showing up directly as an asset owned in any financial statement Podesta prepared.

The denials are already flying:

WND reached Bournakis by telephone in Salt Lake City, and he confirmed that 5835 Waterbury in Salt Lake City was his home apartment address. Bournakis denied knowing anything about John Podesta or Leonidio LLC, the company registered under his name.

Growing irritated by the phone call, Bournakis firmly denied he knew anything about the transfer of 75,000 shares of Joule Unlimited stock that Podesta made to Leonidio LLC.

Hillary has memorized every bad thing Donald Trump has ever done. Quite the accomplishment for someone who testified “I don’t recall” hundreds of times in recent years to avoid prosecution….and now add 21 more.

UK Daily Mail:

Hillary Clinton used variations of ‘I don’t recall’ 21 times when asked 25 questions under oath about how she deleted 33,000 State Department emails.

Sworn written testimony obtained by Judicial Watch show the Democratic presidential candidate dodged virtually all of the questions about the correspondences she removed from her private server while she was Secretary of State.

A federal judge ordered Clinton’s legal team to turn over written responses to questions concerning the so-called ‘homebrew’ server.

Clinton signed the document containing the answers, written by her lawyers on her behalf, on Monday under ‘penalty of perjury’.

While most people have either over heard or even participated in locker-room conversations at some point in their life, I have never seen the kind of contemptuous language and “let them eat cake” kind of demeanor shown repeatedly in these emails among Hillary’s inner circle. They are talking about the people they are supposed to be serving. Do you talk like this? As for yours truly, I don’t know anyone who does.

Those darn Latinos, so needy they are, according to John Podesta, Hillary’s long time friend, campaign chair and Bill Clinton’s former Chief of Staff.

“Trump Groped Me”Claims Fall Apart When Witnesses Say It Didn’t Happen

Two weeks before an election, your a reporter, and you want to make yourself famous…hmm what to do? You claim that Donald Trump groped you and to enhance your credibility you start naming witnesses who saw it all…..

…..except one small problem. You might want to make sure that the witnesses will confirm your story instead of calling you out as a fraud.

Donald Trump’s former Mar-a-Lago Butler backed up the Republican nominee for president in denying the billionaire groped a reporter from People magazine.

“No, that never happened. Come on, that’s just bull crap,” said Anthony “Tony” Senecal.

People magazine writer Natasha Stoynoff wrote an essay this week about how she was groped by Trump at Mar-a-Lago during an interview in the early 2000s.

Trump, at his rally in West Palm Beach on Thursday, said he was always in a public place with Stoynoff and denied he ever acted inappropriately.

So, I am asking for a gut check on this one. You are Donald Trump and you own the Miss Universe Pageant. Is this the women you want to chase around the furniture at Mar-a-Lago?

UPDATE = Second Witness Calls Out Stoynoff as a Liar

The second witness Stoynoff claimed to verify parts of her story is none other than Melania Trump herself. Newsmax:

Stoynoff claims that after the incident happened, she ran into Melania Trump on Fifth Avenue.

According to Stoynoff, Melania Trump asked her, “Natasha, why don’t we see you anymore?” She then gave her a hug.

“I was quiet and smiled, telling her I missed her, and I squeezed little Barron’s foot.”

Harder wrote, “The true facts are there: Mrs. Trump did not encounter Ms. Stoynoff on the street, nor have any conversation with her. The two are not friends or even friendly. At the time in question, Mrs. Trump would not have even recognized Ms. Stoynoff if they had encountered one another on the street.”

The letter threatens legal action if a retraction isn’t issued.

CNN tosses journalistic ethics out the window to help Democrats as a matter of routine. And while they are critical of her with the truth from time to time, what they repeat over and over is agenda driven to put it mildly.

This is one of the more severe cases of journalistic corruption. In this case, the day before Hillary was to have a town-hall meeting on CNN, the email reveals that CNN gave an advance copy to current DNC Chairman Donna Brazile, who was working for CNN at the time. Brazile sent it directly to Hillary Campaign Chair John Podesta and Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri.

It is no secret that most of Hillary’s interviews and town hall events at colleges are scripted with members of the crowd planted with questions in advance.

Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar all donated to the Clinton Foundation and also gained State Department clearance to buy caches of American-made weapons even as the department singled them out for a range of alleged ills, from corruption to restrictions on civil liberties to violent crackdowns against political opponents.

New emails released by WikiLeaks in connection with its dump of John Podesta’s email server indicate that Qatar, an Islamist state in the Persian gulf, gave former President Bill Clinton a check for $1 million for his birthday.

The email indicates foundation officials also met with representatives from Brazil, Peru, Malawi and Rwanda to discuss donations and philanthropic strategies for the Foundation.

“[Qatar] Would like to see WJC ‘for five minutes’ in NYC, to present $1 million check that Qatar promised for WJC’s birthday in 2011,” Ami Desai, director of foreign policy for the Clinton Foundation, wrote in 2012.

The email was sent to a number of Clinton aides, including Doug Band.

In another email two years later, Hillary Clinton noted that Qatar aides and abets the Islamic State and Sunni terrorist groups.

“While this military/para-military operation is moving forward, we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region,” Clinton wrote.

NYT “Trump Touched Me” October Surprise Story Has Serious Problems…UPDATED!

This happens every time just before an election.

The NYT accused John McCain of having an affair with a lobbyist and it was just a lie.

The NYT in coordination with the Obama Campaign accused Herman Cain of having multiple affairs and touching women. It also was shown to be a bunch of lies as Cain was able to show that he was not even in the cities mentioned by several of the women. All of the women knew David Axelrod, who was Obama’s campaign manager. One even lived in the same building as him.

Now the NYT says that Trump touched a lady who was flying first class with him decades ago.

Quote NYT:

More than three decades ago, when she was a traveling businesswoman at a paper company, Ms. Leeds said, she sat beside Mr. Trump in the first-class cabin of a flight to New York. They had never met before.

About 45 minutes after takeoff, she recalled, Mr. Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her.

The New York Times story is highly suspect not just because of their recent election history of dropping lies like this, the cute timing of this story and, thanks to Hillary’s campaign emails being released by WikiLeaks, we know that the  NYT coordinates with the Democrats as a matter of routine – even if you toss all of that aside…….

Hillary Campaign Chairman: We created pressure groups to infiltrate & Undermine the Catholic Church – UPDATED!

You may have seen in our previous post just what Hillary’s inner circle thinks of Catholics and the church via their own emails. Now you are about to find out just what they plan on doing about it.

The radical left has a series of pressure groups, astroturf groups, foundations and think tanks that are funded by the likes of George Soros, corrupt donors who want favors and contracts, foreign countries, neo-Marxist leftists and others. They network together to give the illusion of “grassroots progressive change”.

In an email between Hillary Campaign Chairman John Podesta and Sanford “Sandy” Newman who runs several of these phony pressure groups, Newman laments that there isn’t some type of Trojan Horse in the Catholic Church that can “plant the seeds of the revolution.” Podesta replies by stating that his people are already on it and have already created two phony astroturf groups that are starting to get to work on the ‘Catholic problem.’

While most people have overheard locker-room conversations like the one Donald Trump had 11 years ago, read the email below and ask yourself how many people do you know actually talk about people they are supposed to be serving with this kind of arch contempt? This is truly disturbing.

In short they say that Catholics are cowards and frauds who are too chicken to become evangelicals because their rich friends won’t see them as “sophisticated” if they did. They trash people for getting baptized and go on to state that Catholics are attracted to female oppression and being Catholic is the closest they can get to that oppression in a socially acceptable way.

In this email are Hillary’s Campaign Chairman John Podesta, her Director of Communications Jennifer Palmieri, and John Halpin from the Center for American Progress which is essentially the Clinton’s pet think tank.

UPDATE – Catholic groups outraged!

The Hill:

The Catholic League, an anti-defamation organization, blasted the Clinton campaign for the exchange.

“These anti-Catholic remarks are bad enough but it makes one wonder what else Clinton’s chiefs and others associated with the campaign are saying about Catholics and Catholicism,” the group said in a statement.

A politically conservative group called Catholic Vote, which claims 500,000 members, is demanding Palmieri resign.

“Everyone has a unique faith journey, and it’s just insulting to make blanket statements maligning people’s motives for converting to another faith tradition,” Brian Burch, the group’s president, said in a statement. “Had Palmieri spoken this way about other groups she would dismissed. Catholics will be watching Hillary Clinton to see whether she thinks our religious faith should be respected, or whether it’s fair game to mock us.”

The Intercept: Democrat Talking Points on WikiLeaks Emails Are Lies

The Intercept is left of center to be sure. They hate Donald Trump, but even so they do some good point of view journalism. We have even included them in our blog roll.

In their latest piece Glenn Greenwald blasts the Democrats and their media lackeys in the press corps for just accepting the lies put out by the Clinton’s without question, and without any evidence whatsoever.

…the tactics they are now embracing will endure past the election, making them worthy of scrutiny. Those tactics now most prominently include dismissing away any facts or documents that reflect negatively on their leaders as fake, and strongly insinuating that anyone who questions or opposes those leaders is a stooge or agent of the Kremlin, tasked with a subversive and dangerously un-American mission on behalf of hostile actors in Moscow.

To see how extreme and damaging this behavior has become, let’s just quickly examine two utterly false claims that Democrats over the past four days — led by party-loyal journalists — have disseminated and induced thousands of people, if not more, to believe. On Friday, WikiLeaks published its first installment of emails obtained from the account of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. Despite WikiLeaks’ perfect, long-standing record of only publishing authentic documents, MSNBC’s favorite ex-intelligence official, Malcolm Nance, within hours of the archive’s release, posted a tweet claiming — with zero evidence and without citation to a single document in the WikiLeaks archive — that it was compromised with fakes:

As you can see, more than 4,000 people have re-tweeted this “Official Warning.” That includes not only random Clinton fans but also high-profileClinton-supporting journalists, who by spreading it around gave this claim their stamp of approval, intentionally leading huge numbers of people to assume the WikiLeaks archive must be full of fakes, and its contents should therefore simply be ignored. Clinton’s campaign officials spent the day fueling these insinuations, strongly implying that the documents were unreliable and should thus be ignored. Poof: Just like that, unpleasant facts about Hillary Clinton disappeared, like a fairy protecting frightened children by waving her magic wand and sprinkling her dust over a demon, causing it to scatter away.

Except the only fraud here was Nance’s claim, not any of the documents published by WikiLeaks. Those were all real. Indeed, at Sunday night’s debate, when asked directly about the excerpts of her Wall Street speeches found in the release, Clinton herself confirmed their authenticity.

Emails show just how Hillary’s Campaign illegally coordinated with SuperPAC’s

SuperPAC’s can raise unlimited money and are not very transparent. This is why it is illegal for them to have anything to do with a political campaign, their staff etc etc.

But, the most openly known secret is that coordination does happen on both sides of the isle.  With the political overlap of just who knows who in political circles some coordination is almost impossible to avoid. The difference here is the shockingly brazen way Hillary’s Campaign is coordinating with SuperPAC’s such as David Brock’s  American Bridge 21st Century and Correct the Record. Brock is also a board member of the superPAC Priorities USA Action.

Emails obtained by WikiLeaks show that coordination with Brock’s superPAC’s, and David Brock himself, was regular, ongoing and coordinated at the very top. Not just by Hillary’s Campaign Chairman John Podesta, but by the campaign’s top inner circle including Robby Mook, Hillary’s campaign manager and Jennifer Palmieri her campaign spokesman.

Emails show Podesta having a long fund raising relationship with Brock going back at least to 2008. Where is becomes illegal is when Podesta took on a leading role in Hillary’s presidential campaign.

This email shows Hillary’s campaign manager Robby Mook trying to coordinate with David Brock to get an advance copy of the book “Clinton Cash” which exposes much of the pay for play schemes that have taken place with the State Department and the Clinton Foundation.

This email has Marc Elias, who is the Clinton Campaign’s FEC Lawyer responding. You read that correctly, Hillary’s lawyer was helping to illegally coordinate the campaign with the Brock superPAC’s.

In this email, we see Hillary Clinton’s top campaign staffers having an email conversation with David Brock about sicking him on Marco Rubio for using a false Bill Clinton quote in a fund raising letter.

And still, it gets even better. Law Newz has obtained a training memo showing how Clinton staffers can direct would be donors to contribute to Brock’s superPAC without leaving an evidence trail. ABC News: Hillary emails show how State Dept gave Haiti relief contracts to donors and friends

In a series of candid email exchanges with top Clinton Foundation officials during the hours after the massive 2010 Haiti earthquake, a senior aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton repeatedly gave special attention to those identified by the abbreviations “FOB” (friends of Bill Clinton) or “WJC VIPs” (William Jefferson Clinton VIPs).

“Need you to flag when people are friends of WJC,” wrote Caitlin Klevorick, then a senior State Department official who was juggling incoming offers of assistance being funneled to the State Department by the Clinton Foundation. “Most I can probably ID but not all.”

“Is this a FOB!” Klevorick writes later, when a Clinton Foundation aide forwards a woman’s offer of medical supplies. “If not, she should go to cidi.org,” she adds, directing the person deemed not to be a Clinton friend to a general government website.

Klevorick and Amitabh Desai, the director of foreign policy for the Clinton Foundation, exchanged dozens of emails, which were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by the Republican National Committee and then shared with ABC News. ABC News independently authenticated the emails.

This is no surprise to your truly as the WSJ/NBC polls have been shoddy for some time now, which reminds me that it is a good idea to post a new “Fine Art of Poll Rigging” editorial soon.

In the latest WSJ/NBC Poll Peter Hart polled 500 registered voters, but since Motor Voter legislation almost everyone is registered to vote.

OK, so how many people that Hart of the 500 people polled actually plan to vote? Just 83.

OK so was the poll balanced? Were Democrats over sampled? Of course they were. Among the voters 46 voted for Obama, 33 voted for Romney.

So why poll people who have no intention of voting? Because those people are the least informed and will regurgitate the narrative they see in the elite media because they don’t know any better.

NYT Reporter gave Clinton Campaign veto power over quotes used. Submits article for ‘approval’…

WikiLeaks has shown us via Hillary Clinton’s own campaign emails that there is no line between the Democratic Party and most of the elite media that covers them.

The rules seem to work like this – If  Republican miss speaks it is screamed loud and proud by the elite media and there are no “do overs” or revisions, but if you are a Democrat not only do you get do overs, you get to pick and choose what quotes are used and even get the questions in advance.

In this email NYT reporter Mark Liebovich asks Clinton Campaign Communication Director Jennifer Palmieri for permission to use certain quotes, submits his piece to her for approval and gives them veto power on what should or should not be included. So much for journalistic ethics.

On Jul 7, 2015, at 10:30 PM, Leibovich, Mark <leibovich@nytimes.com> wrote: i wanted the option to use all — and you could veto what you didn’t want. That’s why i selected the 5 or 6 I sent to you…The moose is good, but I’d really love to use the other things i sent, too. They were all on point.

Breitbart News:

Leibovich opens his article using his sighting of a moose as a “point of connection” with Hillary. As instructed he conceals Clinton’s mention of Palin and all other portions of the interview the campaign vetoed.

Despite allowing the Clinton campaign the ability to veto any interview content, in his article, Leibovich brags that even after the campaign sent him an email in the leadup to his story instructing him that the campaign office was “OTR” or off-the-record, he responded by writing that he “wasn’t abiding by any ‘office is off the record provisions.’”

State Department Offered Quid-Pro-Quo to FBI to Declassify Secret Docs Found on Hillary ‘s Illegal Private Email Server

It was an indicator that the FBI’s investigation of Hillary’s illegal email server and mishandling of classified information was a sham when FBI Director Comey testified in detail before Congress that even though Hillary had violated almost every aspect of the statute and then lied about it (video), the Department of Justice (DoJ) decided not to prosecute because they were “uncomfortable” with the part of the statute that says that intent is irrelevant and negligence or foolishness is enough to prosecute on…..in spite of the fact that there have been other cases where they had no such reservation.

We learned October 3rd that the FBO/DoJ had given secret immunity deals to Hillary’s top staff on the condition that they turn over all laptops, devices, documents etc to the FBI. The FBI then destroyed them ensuring that future Attorney Generals, Congress, and the public would never even have the option to fully investigate Clinton’s use of illegal private email servers. It seems that the Obama Administration did not want to leave destroying the evidence to Hillary’s staff.

These same people who got immunity are still pleading the Fifth Amendment to Congress even though they have an immunity deal, which is also outside the law.

Emails obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit revealed that the White House was coordinating with Hillary’s Campaign on the investigation.

Newly disclosed emails show the White House coordinated with Hillary Clinton’s emerging presidential campaign in 2015 about potential fallout from Clinton’s use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

Here are the details, according to a Wall Street Journal review of the emails:

  • Jennifer Palmieri, then the White House communications director, emailed Jen Psaki, a State Department spokesperson, to ask, “between us on the shows…think we can get this done so he is not asked about email.” She was apparently referring to an appearance on CBS by current Secretary of State John Kerry, according to The Journal. Palmieri is now the Clinton campaign’s communications director.
  • Palmieri and Psaki, along with other top White House officials, discussed an interview Kerry gave to CBS. “Good to go on killing CBS idea,” read one email from Psaki. “And we are going to hold on any other TV options just given the swirl of crap out there.”
  • Palmieri, who joined the Clinton campaign in mid-2015, helped arrange for Psaki to take her old job at the White House. Psaki is now the White House communications director.
  • Patrick Kennedy, the State Department undersecretary for management, told Heather Samuelson, one of Clinton’s attorneys, about new documents the State Department had posted concerning Clinton.

It gets even better. We now know thanks to WikiLeaks from the Hillary for President Campaign emails that the Department of Justice was coordinating/leaking/informing – call it what you will – their investigation with Hillary’s campaign staff.

An official within Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign appeared to have discussions with sources inside the Department of Justice (DOJ) about ongoing open records lawsuits regarding the former secretary of State’s emails, according to an email released on Tuesday.

In an email from May 2015, Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said that “DOJ folks” had “inform[ed]” him about an upcoming status conference in one of the lawsuits regarding Clinton’s private email setup.

The information about an upcoming court event would have been public knowledge and open for all to attend. And it’s unclear whether the people Fallon spoke to at the Justice Department were officials who regularly communicate with the public.

However, the fact that Fallon — a former spokesman with the Department of Justice — remained in contact with anyone from the department is likely to renew allegations that the Obama administration maintained an especially cozy relationship with the former secretary of State’s presidential campaign.

UPDATE – The Hill:

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus accused the Justice Department of giving the Clinton campaign “inside information about an ongoing investigation into her email server,” even though information regarding an upcoming court conference would have been public knowledge.

Still, Priebus said, the revelation shows that “instead of facing consequences for her actions like others have, she’s been protected at every turn by the Obama administration.”

The Fallon email was part of a trove allegedly stolen from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and posted Tuesday on Wikileaks.

Here we have NYT/CNBC reporter DNC operative and debate moderator being so proud of himself, running back to Hillary for President Campaign Chairman John Podesta, so he can brag about his mission to provoke Donald Trump. So much for journalistic ethics.

The latest batch of emails from the account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta show New York Times reporter and CNBC anchor John Harwood giving the Clinton campaign tips about other candidates and bragging about feeling vindicated by provoking Donald Trump as a debate moderator.

In a December 2015 email to Podesta, Harwood bragged about his much-criticized debate performance in which he asked Trump “Let’s be honest, is this a comic book version of a presidential campaign?”

UPDATE FNC:

CNBC correspondent John Harwood emailed Podesta numerous times, on some occasions to request an interview and other times to offer advice. On May 8, 2015, Harwood wrote an email with the subject line “Watch out.”

“Ben Carson could give you real trouble in a general [election],” Harwood wrote before linking to video clips of an interview Harwood did with the former pediatric neurosurgeon.

This email is between Hillary for President Campaign Chairman John Podesta, former Time Magazine Editor Strobe Talbot, Nancy Soderberg, a former Deputy NSA for Bill Clinton who is now at Florida University, and the Clinton Foundation’s Director of Foreign Policy Ami Desai.

As one can see by yet another example on an already previous pile of evidence, there is no separation between the elite media, the Clinton Foundation and Hillary’s role in the State Department.

A quick review of recent columns by Kristof reveals a lot of Clinton water-carrying with headlines like “Donald Trump, Groper in Chief” and “How to Cover a Charlatan Like Trump” and “When a Crackpot Run For President” where he makes the case that “journalistic efforts at fairness may risk normalizing Donald Trump.”

In the email, Desai reveals four questions on international issues that Kristof planned to ask Clinton. The first question is framed by crediting Clinton with coming within a “whisker from a Middle East peace deal.” Three of the questions are followed by proposed answers in all CAPS from the Clinton Foundation.

We are finding this out to be true more and more with Hillary. She does an interview and the questions asked of her are either provided by her own staff or are coordinated with the the reporter/interviewer.

Talk show host Steve Harvey provided Hillary Clinton’s campaign with the exact questions he would ask of Clinton during a February interview, according to an internal campaign memo sent a week before the interview and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

“Steve is known to be a host who goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable,” two of Clinton’s top communications aides wrote in a memo to Clinton a week ahead of her interview. “We coordinated closely with the show’s producers on the script and format of the show.”

The memo, sent to Clinton on Feb. 17, 2016, by campaign spokeswoman Karen Finney and communications aide Betsaida Alcantara was attached to an email posted on the website DCLeaks.

Hacked Hillary Email: Boston Globe Coordinated With Hillary to “Maximize Her Presence”

The hacked Hillary Clinton Campaign emails have been very revealing of just how in bed the elite media is corrupted and in the tank with the Democratic Party. It seems just by what has been released so far is that there essentially is no line between the Democratic Party and most elite media outlets.

Staff at The Boston Globe worked with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign to maximize her “presence” during her primary race against Sen. Bernie Sanders, new emails show.

The exchange is one of thousands from the inbox of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta leaked by the online hacktivist group WikiLeaks over the past week.

Marjorie Pritchard, the Globe’s op-ed editor, contacted Podesta wondering if the Clinton campaign was still set to submit an op-ed. But then, Pritchard went above and beyond and offered tips about how the campaign could extract maximum benefit from the piece by coordinating its publication to match the Globe’s regular reporting.

“It would be good to get it in on Tuesday, when she is in New Hampshire,” Pritchard says. “That would give her a big presence on Tuesday with the piece and on Wednesday with the news story. Please let me know.”
