Conservative Groups Win Major Court Victory Against IRS

American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ):

Three years after we filed a lawsuit on their behalf, and for some, nearly seven years after they submitted their applications for tax-exempt status, the grassroots conservative groups that were targeted by the IRS for their political views are finally receiving some of the relief to which they have long been entitled—determinations on those applications.

In early August, the federal appellate court for the District of Columbia Circuit held that the plaintiffs who filed suit in Linchpins of Liberty, et al. v. United States, et al. in 2013 had set forth allegations sufficient to obtain actual evidence about the IRS’s targeting of conservative tax-exempt applicants based on their names and political positions. The D.C. Circuit thus reversed the decision of the district court (which had previously dismissed the claims on the grounds that the IRS had apparently ceased the targeting conduct) and sent the case back to the lower court, explaining that the IRS had failed to demonstrate that either the targeting scheme, or its effects on plaintiffs, had actually ended.

Last week, District Judge Reggie B. Walton held a status conference to resume the lower court proceedings in the case. While the IRS’s attorney once again took the position that most of the claims are moot because most of the plaintiff organizations have received determinations, the court picked up where the D.C. Circuit left off, and ordered that the IRS cease delaying determinations on any outstanding tax-exempt applications of Tea Party groups and other grassroots organizations. He gave the IRS thirty days to comply.

It will be seven years this December since one of our clients awaiting a final determination – Albuquerque Tea Party – submitted its tax-exempt application. Another client – Unite in Action – has been waiting six and a half years since filing its application in May 2010. As a result of Judge Walton’s order, these years-long application processes are finally concluding, and the organizations are receiving the review and determinations they deserve. This is a major victory.

Judge Walton also agreed with our position, affirmed by the appellate court, that the IRS cannot obtain dismissal of the case simply by issuing the remaining determinations but must also produce evidence showing that any negative effects of the targeting on plaintiffs have been completely and irrevocably eradicated. Specifically, we urged, and the court agreed, the IRS must answer such questions as: What was the determination process prior to the targeting? How and why did the targeting begin? What treatment did plaintiffs’ applications receive during the targeting? What assurances are currently in place that plaintiffs will not suffer further retaliation or discriminatory treatment at the hands of the IRS?

As a result of this order, the IRS will, at long last, be required to disclose the details of the lawless and unconstitutional Tea Party targeting scheme. The court’s requirement that the IRS give account for its conduct is a tacit acknowledgment that plaintiffs—as well as the American public—deserve honesty and transparency from their government.

We are pleased that the court has taken this first step and look forward to a resolution of this case that will hopefully include the first judicial acknowledgment of the unmistakably unconstitutional nature of the IRS’s egregious political targeting of U.S. citizens.

Since 2013, the ACLJ has represented more than 41 groups from 22 states across the country in our lawsuits against the IRS. Today, we represent 38 groups in federal court, seeking to hold the IRS and Obama Administration officials accountable.

Star Wars: The Case That Finn is Force Sensitive & Awakens Before Rey (video)

In taking a small break from all of the bad news of just how corrupt the Democratic Party has become, thank you WikiLeaks, I ran across this brilliantly stated and edited video making the case that Finn is indeed a Force sensitive. It seems to me that the author proves his case beyond reasonable doubt.

The fan created video also makes the case that the “awakening” that Snoke detects is Finn and not Rey as he claims that Rey awakens later. I disagree with this because Ray learns to fly and repair the Millenium Falcon like a pro almost instantly, even for an experienced mechanic, and likely used the Force to look into the future for the knowledge she needs.

Finn has tested to be a gifted combatant, resists storm-trooper conditioning, and is among the top 1% of all storm-troopers as far as scoring, showing that he has been using the Force to a degree for some time.

For those dedicated Star Wars fans, it also seems clear that Rey is a “Force Bonder.” This means that she easily creates bonds or links with people using the force and as such she can feel what they feel and know what they know. Rey is also more powerful in the Force herself when she is near other Force Sensitives. Force Bonders tend to be more powerful with The Force than typical Jedi or Dark Side users.

Hillary Campaign Email: Avoid Talking Israel, Foreign Policy Topics in Public

“Because only Republican voters elevate foreign policy….” and even though it is not stated directly, it is implied accurately, that many activist Democrats are hostile to Israel.

The email exchange is among Hillary’s top staff. A key section is below:

In this email exchange Hillary’s top staff they reveal that they are well aware that the peace process is a Potemkin(fake)process for optics only.

Obama Cut Off WikiLeaks’ Internet to Protect Hillary, But WikiLeaks Was Prepared

The Obama Administration had current Secretary of State John Kerry asked Ecuador to cut off his access to the internet, but it made no difference.

McClatchy News:

Wikileaks said Tuesday that Secretary of State John Kerry asked Ecuador to stop WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, from publishing leaked emails that could disrupt peace negotiations with a guerrilla group in Colombia.

Assange, who has been in refuge in Ecuador’s embassy in London for more than four years, saw his access to the internet cut over the weekend.

Democrat Congressman: DoJ, FBI Decided ‘No Matter What’ Clinton Would Not be Held Accountable for Her Crimes

There aren’t that many of them, but there are a very few politicians who actually believe the values they profess. Congressman Dennis Kucinich is one of them.

Congressman Kucinich (D-OH):

“I think the issues that Catherine Herridge has raised and that Judge Napolitano has raised are compelling. If you look at Andrew McCarthy’s piece in the National Review, he made it clear that this is a very political process, having very little to do with the scales of justice, and having everything to do with the 2016 presidential election. The Justice Department and the FBI are inevitably a part of the executive branch of government, and the executive branch of government made an early determination that no matter what came up, that there was no way that Hillary Clinton was going to have to be accountable under law to — for anything dealing with the mishandling of classified information.”

“I will say, it is distressing to see the politicization of the justice system, and the attempt by people in the State Department to try to shade the classified document process in favor of an outcome during the period in which these records were being subpoenaed.”

Hillary’s Paid Private Wall Street Speeches: You are the smartest people. Help us to regulate yourselves…

In the last debate, and for decades really the Democrats, Hillary Clinton in-particular, has promised to reign in Wall Street and stop their excesses. She make sit look like Wall Street fears her. The truth is that they overwhelmingly fund her and as these speech transcripts from her own campaign emails via WikiLeaks she has a very cozy relationship with them.

Read the speeches for yourself HERE.

Yahoo News:

In October 2013, the transcripts show, Clinton told bankers she had “great relations” and worked closely with Wall Street as New York’s senator, and said “the jury is still out” on whether the Dodd-Frank financial reforms put in place after the financial crisis had been the right approach. She said more openness from the start could have prevented the uproar on Wall Street over those reforms.

“What happened, how did it happen, how do we prevent it from happening? You guys help us figure it out, and let’s make sure that we do it right this time,” she said.

Working to relate her speech to her audience, Clinton in one speech likened her experience as secretary of state to business and finance, saying “it’s like anybody’s balance sheet,” with both opportunities and potential liabilities. In one exchange, a conference participant from Texas told Clinton that she had “the honor to raise money for you” during her 2008 presidential campaign.

Clinton responded, “You are the smartest people.”

64.7 MILLION Non-English Speakers in USA

immigrants-in-u-s-1

In order to be economically viable you must speak English. It isn’t “racism”, it is rather, an economic necessity.

Democrats have imported a new dependency class that has not been Americanized and won’t be after what the left and Common Core have done to public education. Eventually you gety what is happening in Europe, Balkanization.

WND:

The report by the Center for Immigration Studies, which breaks down new Census data, shows a record number of new immigrants in the country whose primary language is not English, and the fastest growing language is Arabic.

In 2015 a record 64.7 million U.S. residents spoke a foreign language at home – up 5.2 million since 2010 and up 1.5 million in just the last year. The largest percentage increase from 2010 to 2015 was for speakers of Arabic, Hindi (an India language) and Urdu (Pakistan’s national language).

More than one in five U.S. residents now speaks a foreign language at home, according to the CIS report.

Powerline: Never forget the liberal media runs a smear campaign every election cycle.

Thanks to leaked emails form the DNC and the Hillary for President Campaign we now know that scores of elite media reporters essentially work for them, coordinate with them, and even submit their stories to them for approval before handing them over to their editors.

Some are pretending that two weeks before an election stories of women claiming they were groped by the Republican candidate is some how something new. The allegations against Herman Can who ran for president in 2012 were demonstrated to be false and orchestrated by David Axelrod, Barack Obama’s campaign manager.

Powerline takes us in a short trip through memory lane:

Today’s news is dominated by claims that years ago, Donald Trump made crude comments about women, or inappropriately touched women, or intruded into a women’s dressing room, and so on. Gone from the campaign are such issues as the economy, Obamacare, national security and immigration. As Election Day approaches, the news is all Trump scandals, all the time.

Some will say–I may have said–that Republican primary voters asked for it by nominating a man with obvious personal vulnerabilities, instead of a more upright (and more electable) Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Ted Cruz or whoever.

But what’s a Republican to do? Last cycle, we nominated the ultimate Boy Scout: Mitt Romney. Whatever you think of Romney from a policy perspective, he is as admirable a man as you will ever meet. To find a presidential candidate of better moral character, you probably have to go back to Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Romney never said a rude word about a woman in his life.

So what happened? Did Romney and the GOP get credit in the press for the candidates’s outstanding character? No. Romney, who helped to create tens of thousands of jobs at Bain Capital, was denounced as a “vulture capitalist” and blamed, absurdly, for one woman’s developing cancer. The Washington Post made a front page story of the fact that 50 years earlier, when he was in high school, he and others had cut a classmate’s hair. Oh, and Romney was a racist, too. Does anyone remember why? I don’t.

The cycle before that, GOP voters nominated John McCain. McCain is a great patriot, a man of extraordinary character and courage who survived years of torture and abuse as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. Did the liberal media give Republicans credit for nominating such a hero? No. The New York Times, to its everlasting shame, peddled a false rumor that McCain had an affair with a lobbyist. (Bill Clinton would have done that before breakfast.) It also berated McCain for failing to release his medical records–which, actually, he did, unlike Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

The Left’s permanent smear campaign against conservatives doesn’t just extend to Republican presidential candidates. Recall how the Democrat/media complex treated the Tea Party. Prominent House Democrats lied, disgracefully: they claimed, falsely, that Tea Party activists at a protest in Washington had hurled racial insults at black Democrats like John Lewis. The press ate it up. They printed the Democrats’ lies as facts, and to this day reporters and editors have never corrected the libel, even though a $100,000 prize to anyone who could substantiate the Democrats’ lies went unclaimed.

Hillary Campaign Manager: We Need To Keep Wall Street Billionaire George Soros “Happy”

Thanks to WikiLeaks and the carelessness to witch Hillary and her crew spread information we have learned just how far their tentacles go into crime, Wall Street, academia, the press corps etc. There is no real line where the Democratic Party ends and these other institutions begin.

One of the biggest institutions is billionaire George Soros, who funds dozens of far left foundations, pressure groups, think tanks, SuperPAC’s and media and ties them all, sometimes illegally, into the Democratic Party machine. He is, for Democrats, sugar daddy number one.

Soros is into it all, banking, hedge funds, finance etc but his big ones are currency manipulation and destabilizing governments. In short he gets rich while he makes millions poor.

In this email, Soros summons Hillary Clinton to one of his far left voter registration (and fake voter registration) groups this one being called America Votes:

Hi Huma (and Lona): It was wonderful to see you last week. Thanks so much again for making the time in a very, very busy week. Attached is an invitation for Secretary Clinton to join us at an evening reception at the home of George Soros in December.

We would be thrilled to have her serve as honored guest and speaker at this gathering of our top supporters honoring America Votes’ work over the past 10 years and looking forward to the next decade. Thanks so much in advance for your and the Secretary’s consideration of this request.

We are now holding dates at Mr. Soros’ home in the middle of the month (Dec. 15-17) and hope we can find a mutually agreeable date during that window if possible or an alternative. Please let us know if we can provide any further information, address any questions, etc.

Thanks very much again and look forward to talking again soon.

In the email between Robby Mook, campaign manager, Huma Abedin, Hillary’s personal assistant, and John Podesta, Hillary’s Campaign Chair discuss the event but one thing is clear, make George Soros happy:

mook-keep-soros-happy-email-hillary-podesta

Hillary doesn’t want to reign in Wall Street, as we have learned in many ways from her own emails, she is Wall Street.

Center for Public Integrity: Elite Media Journalists Shower Hillary /w Campaign Cash

The Center for Public Integrity (CPI) deserves some credit. They started out in 1989 as a left leaning outfit who let partisanship get the better of them. They take money from George Soros and Arianna Huffington sits on the board of directors.  But as time went on the quality of their work has improved.

Today they called out left wing media bias and corruption of those “journalists” who are in the tank for the Democrats. It should be noted that they are not talking about partisan talking heads or talk radio hosts, they are talking about Journalists who fly the flag of “objectivity” when they are in reality quite the opposite.

CPI:

New Yorker television critic Emily Nussbaum, a newly minted Pulitzer Prize winner, spent the Republican National Convention pen-pricking presidential nominee Donald Trump as a misogynist shyster running an “ugly and xenophobic campaign.”

What Nussbaum didn’t disclose in her dispatches: she contributed $250 to Democrat Hillary Clinton in April.

On the nation’s left coast, Les Waldron, an Emmy Award-winning assignment editor at television station KFMB, the CBS affiliate in San Diego, swung right in July, shooting $28 to Trump.

And Carole Simpson, a former ABC “World News Tonight” anchor who in 1992 became the first African-American woman to moderate a presidential debate, is not moderate about her personal politics: the current Emerson College distinguished journalist-in-residence and regular TV news guest hasgiven Clinton $2,800.

Conventional journalistic wisdom holds that reporters and editors are referees on politics’ playing field — bastions of neutrality who mustn’t root for Team Red or Team Blue, either in word or deed.

But during this decidedly unconventional election season, during which “the media” has itself become a prominent storyline, several hundred news professionals have aligned themselves with Clinton or Trump by personally donating money to one or the other.

In all, people identified in federal campaign finance filings as journalists, reporters, news editors or television news anchors — as well as other donors known to be working in journalism — have combined to give more than $396,000 to the presidential campaigns of Clinton and Trump, according to aCenter for Public Integrity analysis.

Nearly all of that money — more than 96 percent — has benefited Clinton: About 430 people who work in journalism have, through August, combined to give about $382,000 to the Democratic nominee, the Center for Public Integrity’s analysis indicates.

About 50 identifiable journalists have combined to give about $14,000 to Trump. (Talk radio ideologues, paid TV pundits and the like — think former Trump campaign manager-turned-CNN commentator Corey Lewandowski — are not included in the tally.)

Hillary Campaign Emails Reveal Plot to Trash Clinton’s Female Accusers: “the Slimefest”

Hillary said that women who claim to have been abused deserve to be believed. To that we say sure, unless they turn out to be false.

The difference between Clinton’s accusers as opposed to the Trump accusers is that the Clinton accusers have been corroborated. They have been not just investigated by the press, complete with witnesses some of which were on the Clinton’s security detail, but they have been investigated by the courts and the House of Representatives. Bill Clinton lost his law licence and had to pay a large settlement to accusers like Paul Jones.

The Trump accusers, as you can see by our coverage and others, is that the accusers stories are not substantiated, with most already falling apart. Witnesses they claimed would back them have done the opposite, key facts of their story ended up being incorrect and one accuser even fashioned her accusation using the lyrics of a song. Even the Huffington Post is reporting these with skepticism warning that the accusers stories are not substantiated.

Herman Cain, who ran in 2012 had several women accuse him and their stories fell apart. Come to find out that they were paid and had close ties to Obama’s campaign manager David Axelrod, one even lived in the same building.

Here we have an email dated January 7, 2016 between Bill Clinton’s Attorney David Kendall, Hillary’s Campaign Chairman John Podesta, Hillary’s, Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri, Deputy Communications Director Christina Reynolds, and her Press Secretary and former Obama Justice Department Press Secretary Brian Fallon.

The email has attached documents from David Kendall with opposition research on rape victim Juanita Broaddrick and Kendall ends the email with “Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide about this slimefest”:

Politico Chief Correspondent sends work to Clinton Campaign for approval “I’m a hack”

glenn-thrush-chief-politico-hack-podesta-hillary-email

Politico’s Chief Political Correspondent is Glenn Thrush, and like so many other reporters from the NYT, Boston Globe, AP and television, he submits his work to the Hillary Campaign for approval, even going so far as to admit “I have become a hack”. Well welcome to a pretty large club in the elite media Glenn.

Have you noticed that exactly ZERO of the reporters caught in this scandal have been fired?

In the email he asks if he effed up anything and admits he is a hack and below is his submitted article:

USA Today: Companies used Clinton fundraisers to lobby State Department

And it is Hillary who says that she is going to stand up to these people? She is on their payroll.

USA Today:

The nexus among private companies, Hillary Clinton’s State Department and the Clinton family foundations is closer and more complex than even Donald Trump has claimed so far.

While it is widely known that some companies and foreign governments gave money to the foundations, perhaps in an effort to gain favor, one of the key parts of the puzzle hasn’t been reported: At least a dozen of those same companies lobbied the State Department, using lobbyists who doubled as major Clinton campaign fundraisers.

Those companies gave as much as $16 million to the Clinton charities. At least four of the lobbyists they hired are “Hillblazers,” the Clinton campaign’s name for supporters who have raised $100,000 or more for her current White House race. Two of the four also raised funds for Clinton’s unsuccessful 2008 presidential bid.

Among the donors to the Clinton foundations who also used Clinton-connected lobbyists at the Department of State:

Microsoft has given between $1 million and $5 million to the foundations, as the tech giant also lobbied for visa issues, protection of critical infrastructure and cybersecurity, software industry licensing and government procurement.

• Pfizer, one of the world’s top biopharmaceutical companies, has also given between $1 million and $5 million to the foundations, while lobbying for such issues as intellectual property rights overseas and issues related to medicines in Turkey and India.

• ExxonMobil, the global oil and energy company based in Texas, gave the foundations between $1 million and $5 million. The company lobbied the Department of State for issues involving hydraulic fracturing, popularly known as fracking, oil sands and other provisions.

• The Northeast Maglev, a Washington, D.C.-based company that advocates for high-speed, magnetic levitation rail service in the U.S., donated as much as $100,000 while lobbying the Department of State to help provide support for the issue.

• Mexico TV network Azteca and its affiliates donated as much as $375,000 while lobbying for U.S. business opportunities, an education initiative involving students from the U.S., Mexico and Latin America, and other causes.
