We watched these commercials from 1984 and it started to sink in how much the economy has changed and in many ways not for the better.

These commercials are upbeat, non-decisive and patriotic. How things have changed. Some cultural push back seems to be in order.

You may notice several celebrities from before they were famous. Star Trek, Deep Space Nine’s Terry Farrell is shampooing in the Squeek commercial. 

This is the famed “Morning In America” ad considered one of the most effective political ads of all time.
