When telling  “the whole truth” complete quotes and the context it is said in is everything.

For example two quotes from the Bible are “and he hanged himself” and “go and do likewise.” Taken by themselves someone could build a false narrative around this and make the Bible seem horrible. In fact that is the very tactic that anti-Christian zealots use as a matter of routine.

The FBI could ask you what the color of a perp’s car was and you say read and later the FBI comes back at you and says “No it was magenta” and charges you with the “crime” of lying to the FBI. What the FBI does in real life is not far from this example. The Russia hoax investigation is full of such sophistry.

Redefining terms, playing games with the language and out and out falsehoods are an accepted tactic of the far left. Fully endorsed by leftist luminaries such as Antonio Gramsci, Walter Lippmann Lenin, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Cloward & Piven, Saul Alinsky as well as most any critical theorist.

Objective truth is simply not a value of the left. To them the “truth” is anything that advances “progress” towards socialism/communism.

British politician and civil rights leader Nigel Farage is a strong supporter of Israel. His speeches and actions over the years show this countless times. Farage has met with and supported strong Israeli leaders. Yet examine these headlines LINK – LINK:

The Newsweek piece says that Farage claimed that Israeli influence is more than the Kremlin and advanced the Trump/Russian influence hoax and the second actually has the word “anti-Semitism” right at the top.

Newsweek even goes so far as to claim this:

Trump ally and Brexit leader Nigel Farage says there’s something Americans should worry about more than Russian meddling: Jews.

Nigel Farage said nothing of the kind. This is straight up libel.

What really happened?

Farage did not compare the Israeli lobby with the Kremlin at all. A nutty caller in a call in show did. While acknowledging that the Israeli lobby has a strong influence, Farage did not “single out” Israel at all, in fact just the opposite.

In the actual conversation Farage dodges the caller’s obvious anti-semetic far left invective and uses a diplomatic dodge to get rid of him. A caller named Ahmed told Farage that he thought the pro-Israel lobby in the United States was as dangerous as alleged Russian interference.

Farage responded:

“Well, the Israeli lobby, you know, that’s a reasonable point, Ahmed, because there are about 6 million Jewish people living in America, so as a percentage it’s quite small, but in terms of influence it’s quite big. Well, in terms of money and influence, yep, they are a very powerful lobby,” “There are other very powerful foreign lobbies in the United States of America, and the Jewish lobby, with its links with the Israeli government, is one of those strong voices.”

Farage’s tone made it clear that he thought the rest of Ahmed’s point was unreasonable.

Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle-East and in the United Nations. Israel fights terrorists over there who would be coming over here if not for the marvelously effective Israeli security forces. Israel has saved countless American lives so they should have the influence that such an ally deserves. What was Farage supposed to say in response to the nutty caller, “No, Israel has a weak and ineffective lobby.”

No one can control what a caller says in a call in show, which is why this attempt to smear Nigel Farage in 2017 caught no traction because it had no merit.

The Senate Intelligence Committee rarely holds on open hearing as most of the testimony they deal with are secret. They made an exception in this case to help the American people wake up. 

Think about it. Eric Swalwell, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee and who Nancy Pelosi is protecting, was sleeping with a Chinese spy since he was on the city council of a small town. That is how far they are willing to go.

The NYT was far from the only corporate media outlet to run CCP propaganda. Twitter and Politico have also taken money taken from the CCP, but we doubt anyone is really surprised about that.

A news agency controlled by the Chinese Communist Party paid millions of dollars to American newspapers and magazines over the past six months, even as U.S. officials have sounded the alarm on Beijing’s propaganda activities.

China Daily paid more than $1.6 million for advertising campaigns in Time magazine, the Los Angeles Times, Financial Times, and Foreign Policy magazine, according to disclosures filed with the Justice Department. The Beijing-controlled news agency paid another $1 million to American newspapers, including the L.A. Times, Chicago Tribune, and Houston Chronicle, to print copies of its own publications.

U.S. officials have increasingly drawn attention to CCP propaganda campaigns in the West. The Justice Department requires several Chinese news companies, including China Daily, to disclose their activities under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Officials have also warned that CCP-affiliated groups have hosted events with American think tanks and educational institutions in an attempt to boost their influence in the West.
Several American newspapers have come under fire for publishing China Daily inserts entitled “China Watch.” Though designed to look like normal newspaper stories, the inserts contain articles that portray the Chinese government and life in China in a positive light.

The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post have all severed ties in recent years with China Daily amid complaints that they were publishing CCP propaganda. The Times purged hundreds of China Daily advertorials from its website last year because of concerns about working with state-run media.

China Daily increased its advertising spending by more than 36 percent over the past six months, from nearly $3.3 million to more than $4.5 million, according to its latest foreign agent disclosure.

Time magazine took in $700,000 for advertising, while the Los Angeles Times received $272,000. Foreign Policy and Financial Times received $291,000 and $371,577, respectively. The Globe and Mail, a Canadian newspaper, raked in $329,898 for advertising.

Time appears to be a new China Daily client. The magazine’s website features articles from China Daily with the disclosure “paid partner content,” though without any mention of its affiliation with the Chinese government.
