This was campaign suicide. Joe Biden lost the debate in five areas:
1 – “I do not want to ban fracking, post the tape…” and post the tape people are. Biden and Harris have said this as least half a dozen times on video that is all over social media.
No one is going to let this go. This was absolute campaign suicide.
2 – After committing debate suicide. After lying about having The Green New Deal (banning gasoline cars, rebuilding every building in the USA, banning fossil fuels) on his web site at the last debate. After denying he wanted the AOC Green New Deal tonight, Biden followed his “post the tape” challenge to Trump saying he wants to transfer away form all fossil fuels for renewables like wind and solar, which everyone knows does not provide nearly enough energy to heat homes and run the economy it.
Being energy independent, largely because of Donald Trump, is why the economy boomed before COVID but is also why we no longer need to get involved in endless wars over oil and energy security.
3 – Who built the cages Joe?

Sounds just like Obamacare and the American people took Congress away from the Democrats over it.

Would Be Debate Moderator Steve Scully Suspended for Lying
The commission on presidential debates has proved to be just another partisan hit job. Would be debate moderator of the cancelled debate was supposed to be Steve Scully, who used to intern for Joe Biden.
SPAN suspended political editor Steve Scully “indefinitely” after he admitted to lying about his Twitter feed being hacked on Oct. 8, according to the Associated Press.
“I falsely claimed that my Twitter account had been hacked,” Scully said in a statement Thursday.
Scully, who was slated to moderate the second presidential debate prior to its cancellation due to President Donald Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis, claimed he was the victim of a hack after his Twitter account posted a tweet soliciting advice from vocal Trump critic Anthony Scaramucci on what to do about the president.
If this is true the polling is breathtakingly wrong again
It could mean 1984 all over again for the Democrats.

Ted Cruz in the Judge Barrett conformation hearing. Democrats in the Obama Admin actually told the Supreme Court that it has the power to ban books, movies and more that was critical of Hillary Clinton. Look at how many “Justices” thought that was OK.
There is plenty to legitimately critique Judge Barrett on. So why are Dems going sleazy?
As Political Arena readers are well aware, we are not fans of the Democratic Party. The party leadership has been seized by big money interests, foreign actors such as the CCP, and pressure groups often funded with illegal money. Their propaganda is rather effective but people are figuring out that constant attacks of “racist, bigot, sexist homophobe” either lack substance or are simply tools used to enrage and divide.
On the flip side, although we have been mostly happy with President Trump and we agree with at least 85% of his political sentiments, the President has been saddled by numerous bad hires (as we previously discussed HERE) who have given him bad advice or actively resist. Trump’s Chiefs of Staff have been unwilling to fire those who need to be fired. Talk about draining the swamp – well drain it then. Put Ric Grenell in charge of it.
On the Judge Barrett hearings
Barrett has been attacked by Democrats for having adopted black children from Haiti, her womanhood was called into question. There are ads showing up on TV and social media attacking her character.
On “substance” they are attacking her for being pro-life and attacking her for an article she wrote correctly calling out Justice Roberts for his “implausible” ruling on Obamacare’s constitutionality.
Where Democrat’s really fear a Justice Barrett is that she was a lawyer on Bush v. Gore. She will give no quarter to the election rigging nonsense going on now, especially if it is judicially imposed.
The Democrat’s have confused their emotional attachment with Bush v. Gore and Obamacare with the public will. Bush v. Gore was correctly decided and after Obamacare the voters took Congress away from the Democrats in a decisive electoral smackdown.
If Democrats weren’t so emotionally enraged and started thinking, they would attack Barrett where she has real problems in her jurisprudence which would undermine her support among Republican voters. Democrats were never going to defeat a Barrett nomination, only Republicans can do that.
So where is Barrett weak?

In short – Judge Barrett is weak on the 4th amendment, often pretends like the 14th isn’t there and thinks that the Bill of Rights can be suspended so long a the government calls for an emergency (See her outrageous Jacobson v Mass citation and “reasoning” in the Illinois Governors shutdown ruling.) Barrett is Federalist Society establishment and a product of big academia, which Justice Scalia often wrote and spoke against. If anyone thinks that she will be a Justice that will reign in the abuses of the “Deep State” they had better think again.
Democrats are not attacking Barrett on these issues because they, for the most part, agree with the big academia view that the 4th, 14th and other Amendments are just not seen as limits on what government “can do to us”…in spite of the context in which they were passed and the plain language used. Democrats love the “Deep State” because they see it as a weapon that they by and large control. They love illegal mass surveillance programs as President Trump found out the hard way.
Judge Barrett is running intellectual rings around her Democrat inquisitors and it is fun to watch, but Roberts was even more impressive during his hearings….and he turned into the worst Republican appointment in decades.
We honestly hope a new Justice Barrett will buck the big academia/Federalist Society establishment and actually fight for our rights and the limits set in the Constitution.

Well, the scenario described above is happening, though not with Russia or the far right, but with China and the leftist disturbances upending America and seeking to transform it.
Yet, there has not been a peep from the media or Congress about China’s support of the riots.

China Peddling Communist Propaganda in U.S. State and Local Governments
The Chinese Communist Party is engaged in an effort to infiltrate and conduct espionage on state and local U.S. governments, the latest front in a growing proxy war between America and the Communist regime, according to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
During a Wednesday speech in Madison, Wis., Pompeo pulled the curtain back on the Communist Party’s efforts to peddle influence and cultivate allies in America’s state and local governments. While the Trump administration has worked to ice China out of the federal government, local institutions have been more receptive to CCP influence operations, Pompeo said.
“CCP campaigns targeting state-level officials, and local interests, have been in full swing for years, and they’re increasing in intensity,” Pompeo said. “The Party and its proxies aim to make Americans receptive to Beijing’s form of authoritarianism.”
Chinese officials are using their American consulates to mount pressure campaigns on local governments, encouraging them to pass laws and resolutions that Beijing sees as beneficial to its image. These can take the form of measures praising China’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, which have been pushed in several state legislative bodies, or other initiatives meant to diminish U.S. ties to disputed Taiwan. These efforts are punctuated by “CCP influence and espionage campaigns at the municipal and city level,” according to Pompeo.

In mid-2016, the FBI got word that Russian intelligence believed Hillary Clinton’s campaign was planning to frame Donald Trump as colluding with Russia’s Vladimir Putin to hack her computers. Yet somehow, the crack agents never connected the dots when handed the Steele “dossier” commissioned and paid for by the Clinton campaign that claimed Trump was colluding with Putin.
Instead, the Justice Department used that dossier as a pretext to spy on at least Trump aide Carter Page as it investigated the clearly spurious charges. Justice also distorted the facts about Page’s past relations with the CIA to suggest he had a history of working with Russian agents when his actual record involved turning them in. Meanwhile, it buried the fact that Steele’s main source was himself a suspected Russian agent.
Nor did it connect the dots to another “Russiagate” lead, the third-hand rumors passed along by a Clinton-allied diplomat that supposedly implicated another Trump aide, George Papadopoulos.
The news of the 2016 intel comes from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe’s gradual release of Russiagate records — which show that the true scandal was the investigation itself.

The federal court documents, filed by Michael Flynn’s lawyers in the U.S. District Court of Columbia on Thursday, included text message conversations between FBI staffers about former President Barack Obama’s intelligence briefing on January 5, 2017. One unnamed FBI employee asked another “What’s the word on how [Obama’s] briefing went?”
“Don’t know but people here are scrambling for info to support certain things and it’s a mad house,” the FBI colleague replied. “Trump was right. Still not put together… Why do we do this to ourselves. What is wrong with these people.”

Even though I had voted for every Republican presidential candidate since 1980, I didn’t vote for Donald Trump in 2016.
Many Republican nominees had been huge disappointments to me, and I wasn’t going to vote for yet another GOP candidate I thought would betray my trust. I couldn’t imagine Trump as a genuine conservative who would champion limited government, respect individual freedom and liberty, and protect the unborn — but was I ever wrong. Although I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016, I would crawl over broken glass to vote for him in 2020.
The primary reason I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 was that I didn’t believe him. I didn’t trust that he would be pro-life, a non-negotiable issue for me. His bluster and bravado didn’t appeal to me. I took him literally but not seriously, in contrast to his supporters who took him seriously but not literally (credit to Peter Thiel for identifying this significant distinction).
By the time Trump took office, I was willing to give him a chance. He was the president, after all, and deserved the opportunity to prove himself. During the first year of his presidency, I was impressed by his commitment to keeping his campaign promises, unlike most politicians. By the end of 2017, I classified myself as a Trump supporter because of what he had already done as president.
Trump’s list of first-term accomplishments has been truly impressive:
- Building the strongest U.S. economy in my lifetime through historic business and personal tax cuts, resulting in millions of jobs created and record-low unemployment
- Cutting federal government regulations that had a stranglehold on American business innovators and entrepreneurs
- Confronting China’s trade abuses and negotiating fair trade deals with Canada, Mexico, South Korea, and Japan
- Eliminating the Obamacare individual mandate
- Rebuilding our military through investments in our defense capabilities as well as securing the largest military pay raise in a decade
- Nominating and confirming more solid conservative circuit court judges than any other first-term administration
- Nominating and fighting for the confirmation of two originalists, Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, to the Supreme Court and then nominating Amy Coney Barrett to fill the vacancy left by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
- Moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and then brokering the Abraham Accords peace deal between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain
- Consistently fighting Democrats to build the wall to secure our southern border, reinforcing and repairing hundreds of miles, with more construction on the way

Newsweek: Putin Says He Wants to Work With Biden, Claims ‘Shared Values’ Between Democrats and Communism
Newsweek included a few facts in this article, namely how Putin favors Joe Biden and sees similarities between the Democratic Party and his former Communist Party in Russia which killed 50-60 million people. But the rest of the piece is an outrageous and dishonest hit job on Trump.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has attempted to mark a positive resemblance between Democratic presidential candidate, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Soviet communists in a wide-ranging interview with the Rossiya TV channel, released Wednesday as the 2020 vice presidential candidates prepared to debate.
The president said the Kremlin would be open to working with whoever sits in the Oval Office in 2021, despite U.S. intelligence reports indicating that Russia is trying to undermine Biden in the same way it did Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016.
But Putin linked Biden to communist ideology during the interview. While Putin—a former party member, KGB colonel and intelligence operative—made the comparison in positive terms, his comment lines up with GOP talking points about the Biden-Kamala Harris ticket. Trump and his allies have tried to frame their opponents proposing a far-left, extremist platform dictated by the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
“The Democratic Party is traditionally closer to the so-called liberal values, closer to social democratic ideas,” Putin said. “And it was from the social democratic environment that the Communist Party evolved.”
“After all, I was a member of the Soviet Communist Party for nearly 20 years” Putin added. “I was a rank-and-file member, but it can be said that I believed in the party’s ideas. I still like many of these left-wing values. Equality and fraternity. What is bad about them? In fact, they are akin to Christian values.”
Apparently Putin find mass murder to be a Christian value. The rest of the Newsweek article is outrageous spin, including another attempt to accuse Trump of collaborating with the Russians in 2016. Declassified internal FBI and DoJ documents have revealed that key Democrats, in league with the CIA and FBI, manufactured the scandal to frame and entrap President Trump as well as several officials in his campaign.
