If you live in the suburbs or you’re a city dweller eyeing a move to a quiet cul-de-sac where your kids can play outside, you need to know about Joe Biden’s plan for a federal takeover of local zoning laws.

The ex-veep wants to ramp up an Obama-era social engineering scheme called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing that mercifully barely got underway before President Trump took office, vowing to stop it.

Biden’s plan is to force suburban towns with single-family homes and minimum lot sizes to build high-density affordable housing smack in the middle of their leafy neighborhoods — local preferences and local control be damned.

Starting in 2015, President Barack Obama’s Department of Housing and Urban Development floated a cookie-cutter requirement for “balanced housing” in every suburb. “Balanced” meant affordable even for people who need federal vouchers. Towns were obligated to “do more than simply not discriminate,” as a 2013 HUD proposal explained. Rather, towns had to make it possible for low-income minorities to choose suburban living and provide “adequate support to make their choices possible.”

Had the rule been implemented nationwide, towns everywhere would have had to scrap zoning, build bigger water and sewer lines to support high-density living, expand schools and social services and add mass transit. All pushing up local taxes. Towns that refused would lose their federal aid.

The rule was one of the worst abuses of the Obama-Biden administration — a raw power grab masquerading as racial justice.

The Trump Administration has kept it’s promise to uphold free speech on campus with new federal regulations. The rules uphold the rights of students and academics to free speech, freedom of association and freedom of expressive association. Student groups, especially religious ones, cannot be discriminated against. Universities that violate these rules, and many have, will face a loss of federal grants. Private universities that promise to uphold free speech, will be required to do so as if such rules are part of a contract with the students.

This is a giant leap forward in civil rights as Marxists on campus have discriminated against those who buck Marxist orthodoxy.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Nineteen foreign nationals face federal charges in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina for illegally voting in the 2016 federal elections, according to federal charges publicly announced on Wednesday. These charges are the latest indictments to result from an ongoing years-long federal criminal investigation being conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Raleigh office.

A federal grand jury in Wilmington charged seven foreign nationals on August 31 on federal felony charges including falsely claiming U.S. citizenship or making false statements on voter registration application, and with misdemeanor charges of unlawfully casting ballots in the 2016 presidential election. Non-citizens are not eligible to register to vote or to vote in federal elections under U.S. law.

Under Director Chris Wray, the FBI continues to engage in “widespread violations” of rules protecting Americans’ privacy while searching through national security surveillance data, the chief judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court has concluded.

In a ruling made in December but unsealed over the Labor Day weekend, Judge James Boasberg revealed that a July 2019 audit had found 87 instances in which the FBI queried “raw FISA acquired” evidence even though agents or analysts “were not reasonably likely to retrieve foreign intelligence information or evidence of a crime” as required by law. In other words, they risked violating Americans’ privacy without a lawful basis.

“There still appear to be widespread violations of the querying standard by the FBI,” Boasberg concluded, citing examples in which NSA records were searched for unnecessary or unlawful reasons.

In his 83-page heavily redacted ruling, the judge also cited concern about a group of searches involving 16,000 people, rejecting the bureau’s argument they were necessary and lawful.

“Based on the facts reported, the FBI’s position that the queries for all 16,000 persons were reasonably likely to retrieve foreign-intelligence information or evidence of a crime is unsupportable,” he wrote.

Despite the concerns, the judge nonetheless proceeded to approve the latest rules allowing the FBI to continue to conduct such searches of data gathered by the National Security Agency or under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

More evidence just vanishing before people can be held accountable. The FBI interviewed the sub-sources for the fake “Trump-Russia” dossier put together by Christopher Steele and paid for by the Clinton Campaign and the FBI so the FBI was well aware that the entire Trump-Russia conspiracy theory was a sham from day one as revealed by declassified documents.

Steele’s contacts and presence in the Obama State Department and other parts of the previous administration are being scrubbed.

Earlier this year, the infamous dossier author Christopher Steele revealed he had destroyed nearly all the records detailing his dirt-digging on Donald Trump and Russia.

“They no longer exist,” Steele told a British court.

Now comes word that Steele’s primary and longtime contact inside the Obama State Department, Jonathan Winer, also destroyed records of the former British MI6 agent’s contacts inside that federal agency, including many of the 100-plus unsolicited intelligence reports Steele provided the Obama administration.

“I destroyed them, and I basically destroyed all the correspondence I had with him,” Winer is quoted as saying in a little noticed passage of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s final report on the Russia collusion scandal.

Winer apparently destroyed the records at Steele’s request, the report said.

“After Steele’s memos were published in the press in January 2017, Steele asked Winer to make note of having them, then either destroy all the earlier reports Steele had sent the Department of State or return them to Steele, out of concern that someone would be able to reconstruct his source network,” the committee’s report released last month stated.

The consequence of the document destruction appears to have been real. “Department of State was able to produce for the Committee, from their archives, many Steele memos from 2015 and some from 2016, but most of his reports from 2014 are missing,” the committee noted.

The missing documents create an evidentiary hole in the story of Steele’s extensive contact at the Obama State Department, where he delivered through Winer a total of 120 reports on Russia and Ukraine policy matters that reached as high as Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Secretary of State John Kerry.

When the FBI wants to spy on an American they have to present evidence to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court that such spying is absolutely necessary. The target of the spying is far from the only person spied upon as people several spheres of influence around the “target” are also spied upon. So when the FBI lied to the FISA Court to convince them to issue a spying warrant, it essentially allowed the FBI to spy on most of the Trump campaign. The Woods file is the raw evidence that the FBI should be able to produce showing probable cause. In the case of Carter Page and spying on the Trump campaign, the Woods file simply does not exist.

The original Woods file on former campaign advisor Carter Page went missing more than two years ago, and according to sources who spoke to SaraACarter.com, those documents had to be recreated by the FBI and former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team in 2018 from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Application used by the bureau to obtain the warrant on Page. That FISA was used in part to investigate President Donald Trump’s campaign and the now-debunked theory that it colluded with Russia during the 2016 election, according to several sources, with knowledge, who spoke to this reporter.

The woods file procedure, which was overseen by FBI Supervisory Special Agent Joe Pientka, and ultimately former FBI Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok, was used to verify the contents in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act application that was used to obtain a warrant to spy on Page.

Moreover, during Pientka’s numerous interviews with investigators from the DOJ’s Inspector General’s office, who likely have worked for both Michael Horowitz and Connecticut prosecutor John Durham – the fact that it was a recreated Wood’s file was never disclosed.

In fact, it had been missing for an unknown period of time, possibly up to two years and officials did not become aware it had disappeared until last week during a closed-door Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.

Pientka attended the closed-door hearing, along with other FBI officials, according to sources familiar with the proceedings.

“The real story here is how does the FBI, Special Counsel’s Office and Inspector General figure out if the Wood’s file went missing through malice or through incompetence,” said a source with knowledge if the circumstances.

Pientka has so far been cleared by the Justice Department and not charged with any wrongdoing. According to sources, he has been speaking and cooperating with Justice Department officials and members of Congress. He still maintains active employment with the FBI, unlike Strzok, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former Assistant Director Bill Priestap, among others.

Schmidt also made it harder to prosecute assaults on cops.

In Contra County, Calif., outside San Francisco, DA Diana Becton will now consider looters’ “needs” when weighing criminal charges. At Politico, she and four other black, female DAs (from Chicago, Boston, St. Louis and Durham) actually slammed the very criminal-justice system they were elected to enforce — ludicrously claiming it was “constructed to control Black people and people of color” and that it’s now doing just that.

The Bay City’s DA is Chesa Boudin, the son of Brink’s robbery cop-killers who was raised by radical Weather Underground leaders Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. He, too, has adopted rules making it harder to prosecute suspects.

Chicago’s State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who vowed to cut the jail population, dropped 35 percent more felony cases than her predecessor over three years (including that of alleged racial hoaxter Jussie Smollett).

For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that “virtually all White people contribute to racism” or where they are required to say that they “benefit from racism.” According to press reports, in some cases these training have further claimed that there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.

These types of “trainings” not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce. We can be proud that as an employer, the Federal government has employees of all races, ethnicities, and religions. The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions. Accordingly, to that end, the Office of Management and Budget will shortly issue more detailed guidance on implementing the President’s directive. In the meantime, all agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on “critical race theory/”white privilege,” or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil. In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and/or to divert Federal dollars away from these un-American propaganda training sessions.

The President, and his Administration, are fully committed to the fair and equal treatment of all individuals in the United States. The President has a proven track record of standing for those whose voice has long been ignored and who have failed to benefit from all our country has to offer, and he intends to continue to support all Americans, regardless of race, religion, or creed. The divisive, false, and demeaning propaganda of the critical race theory movement is contrary to all we stand for as Americans and should have no place in the Federal government.

The Post Millenial has a great post on this with many examples:

GoFundMe is a crowdsourcing platform that many people often use to get help paying for medical and legal expenses, but the administrators of the site don’t let just anyone use it. The rules are different for radical leftists than they are for conservatives.

When supporters of alleged Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse launched a GoFundMe to help with his legal defense fees, the site admins took the campaign down and refunded the donations. It appears that GoFundMe does not think Rittenhouse is deserving of a defence, but that Antifa militants are.

The site told The Washington Times that the campaigns for Rittenhouse violated their terms of service. The site’s terms of use prohibit “activity that GoFundMe may deem in its sole discretion to be unacceptable.”

While it deemed a defense of Rittenhouse as unacceptable, and touts itself as “The most trusted free online fundraiser platform,” GoFundMe has no problem hosting crowdfunders for rioters who brought Molotov cocktails to riots.

In June, a crowdfunder for legal fees was launched for Zachary Alexander Karas of San Diego. Karas was charged by the Department of Justice with “possessing incendiary devices known as Molotov cocktails at a protest that began on May 30th in La Mesa.”

The charges filed by the DOJ stated that Karas, along with his girlfriend Kali Braj Jonkuet, were engaging in a protest in La Mesa. Fires had been set, and property damaged, when officers instructed the crowd to disperse. Karas did not comply with the order.

It was after he was arrested and officers found two molotov cocktails in his possession, as well as fireworks. An ATF special agent inspected the glass bottles, containing gasoline and a wick, and “found them to be functioning incendiary devices.”

GoFundMe had no problem hosting the campaign for Karas, and donated $150 to the campaign themselves. Karas and his molotov cocktails “touched” The GoFundMe Team, as reported by AntifaWatch.us.

GoFundMe allowed crowdfunding campaigns in support of violent Portland rioters, as well. They were not concerned about promoting violence and property destruction.
