You read that correctly. The Pentagon leadership defied President Trump and had a very public tantrum when he proposed using active duty military for border enforcement. He should have fired them all. 

Now the military is housing illegal border crossers and transporting them to various American cities (mostly in Republican states) and dumping countless thousands of them into the streets. 

All of this is in violation of immigration law passed by Congress.
