Justice Scalia: Right of Parents to Direct Child’s Education Protected Under 9th Amendment

This interactive with Justice Scalia is a must see. This is not just some boring law lecture. Scalia is funny, charismatic, entertaining and a straight up genius. It is easy to see why even leftists on the Court adored him.

Worth noting about 37 minutes into the video, Justice Scalia explains what rights are clearly intended to fall under the 9th Amendment protection: 

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Any rights not specifically addressed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, such as the right of a parent to direct their child’s education (a right that is under direct assault by the Democratic Party right now) and other rights that fall under common sense “Natural Law.”

Ahead of the Texas race for governor a reporter went to University of Texas (UT) at Austin to ask students who they’re voting for Robert “Beto” O’Rourke or Greg Abbott. The majority of UT students said Beto, but couldn’t say why. Like we see in university interviews the students are clueless.

This is an example of how the debate went. Walker is not a perfect candidate, but his opponent’s Marxist/communist views are so off the rails they are indefensible.
