“Only In America” …observations by a Canadian

Author Unknown.

In 2006, Canada’s National Debt was 50% of their GDP.  In 2006, America’s National Debt was 50% of their GDP. Since the elections in Canada of Stephen Harper and the Conservative Government the Canadian National Debt stands at less than 30% of the Canadian GDP. Since the midterms of 2006 [when Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats took power in Congress] in America the National debt now stands at over 100% of the American GDP.

1) Only in America could the rich people – who pay 86% of all income taxes –
be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any
income taxes at all.

2) Only in America could people claim that the government still
discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a
black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal work force is black
while only 12% of the population is black

3) Only in America could they have had the two people most responsible for
our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and
Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to
be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

4) Only in America can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah
and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed
by the backlash.

5) Only in America would they make people who want to legally become
American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of
thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting anyone who
sneaks into the country illegally just ‘magically’ become American citizens.

6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the budget and
sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”

7) Only in America could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a
check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether
oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when
the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is
less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the
people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars
more than it has per year – for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and
complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

10) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a
$35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event.

11) Only in America can a man with no background, no qualifications and no
experience … and a complete failure at his job … be reelected.

You are forgetting Canadian provincial debt. In the US, most states have balanced budget amendments, but not so for Canadian provinces. Canada’s net National Debt is over $620B, and total net Provincial Debt is over $430B. Total Debt to GDP for Canada is as high as the US.

Regarding #7, voting is a right. If there actually were an in person voter fraud problem, voter ID might make sense. There isn’t. Voter ID is just about disenfranchising people who lean Democrat. See this video for proof:

    Political Arena Editor Responds:

Even Democrat aligned writers said that Allen West had his district stolen via vote fraud, Al Frankin won via vote fraud, in 59 voting districts in Pennsylvania Mitt Romney did not get a single vote. In other districts the Black Panthers came in and forcibly ejected the Republican poll observers. North Carolina registered over 583 Democrat voters over the age of 112. Dozens of voting districts tabulated more votes than they have registered voters, and the list goes on and on.

Here is the link to our Vote Fraud category filled with dozens of links in the articles of vote fraud that you can verify yourself. – https://politicalarena.org/?s=Vote+Fraud

The problem we have here is not vote suppression, the problem we have Michael Wilson is that you are telling lies on your web site. I laughed out loud when you said that the 9% of people without a drivers license would be disenfranchised, when anyone who read the court cases involving voter ID, such as Indiana’s, knows full well that the state will deliver a qualified state ID to any legal voter free of charge.

Not only are the lies not very convincing, but you also can’t seem to do simple math. The 2012 GDP of Canada was about $1.8 Trillion and their debt is about $600 Billion…which is about a third, so the 30% number we published stands.

    • Michael says:

I looked through that link and couldn’t find any examples of “in-person voter fraud”. That is the only problem Voter ID is supposed to stop.

Regarding Canadian debt, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business has a debt clock which includes Provincial debt. It comes out to 65% of GDP.

      Political Arena Editor Responds:

So you admit that Democrats engage in massive fraud, but just not “in person” fraud? Well nice try, you are lying once again. There were plenty of cases of in person vote fraud, such as when the dead vote because they are left on the rolls – someone says they are such a person and votes “for them”. Also, when the Black Panthers went in and forcibly ejected the Republican Poll watchers they signed the name of each resident and took a ballot and voted for Obama for them, IN PERSON – which is a key reason that Mitt Romney did not get one vote in 59 voting districts.

You include the provincial (states) debt too? No one using generally accepted practices and procedures combines those two debts. Heck, why don’t you throw in the debt from any municipalities and school boards while you are at it? Why does no one do that? Because each state, municipality, and school board has their own credit rating, their own set of tax revenue and their own budgets. How stupid do you think we are that we would fall for a nonsense trick like that?

Micheal Wilson of econopolitics.com you are a liar, a deceiver, and basically a flim-flam artist – and you well know it.

      Vote Fraud IS Vote Suppression
